Relaxing Converible that takes luggage. by drg40 Gloucester on 05/16/2011. Trim: 2010 Volvo C70 T5, Owned 1 year.
Pros: It is the smallest true touring convertible for two on the market. Anything cheaper - and many larger = is meant for a Sunday afternoon out with only a small picnic hamper. You can do 600Km a day - day after day - and still feel as though you're on holiday rather than a travelling salesman. The seats are by far the most comfortable I have found. For a car of its size weight and comfort it dunnarf go. The ease of going from left hand to right hand drive and the BLIS system take a lot of concern out of crossing Europe.
Cons: It does take a while to get use to. I cursed the SatNav roundly for the first 2000 kms and then discovered I wouldn't go back to any of the others at any price. The integral telephone is a bit rudimentary until you put petrol in it instead of deisel and then you find that the automatic Volvo garage calling system actually does what it says on the box. IT's simpler flying a fast jet - and quite possbly slower.
Overall review: I bought it as a major birthday present for my wife and she thinks it's terrific. That'll do just nicely thank you.

"BEST OF BOTH WORLDS" by Steve from Port Jervis,N.Y. on 01/28/2010. Trim: 2010 Volvo C70 T5, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Love the styling. The 2011 model will have a new front fascia and use "LED" lights in the rear, but this model displays more than pride. The cockpit/front seats are very comfortable. Volvo did a fantastic job laying out the controls in a center dash pod. Very easy to reach and use. Also has controls on the steering wheel. The ride is smooth and the handling is great. The Top folds in 30 secs. with great precision. Have not driven with the top down yet, so I can't report on the wind noise, but with it up the car is very quiet. Has plenty of storage bins in the cabin which are lockable. The engine purrs and is good on fuel.
Cons: Wish the engine had more power, but I can live with it. The rear seat is comfortable, but "VERY" cramped. So passengers in the back better be small. There is absolutely no leg room. Also you can not get "Splash Guards" to protect this car. Living in New York this would of been nice to be able to get.
Overall review: With Volvo's safety record and all the safety features, especially the "ROPS" system the insurance on this car is more than reasonable. Also Volvo is offering 5 year/60,000 mile coverage on the following: bumper to bumper warranty, free scheduled maintenance and "WEAR and TEAR" replacement. They are also offering a $6000 rebate until 02/01/10. My wife and I were waiting for the "NEW" S60, but with this rebate this car is just "TOO" good of a deal to pass up. And again it's a hardtop/convertible, so you have the best of both worlds. Overall, we absolutely love this car.
