Pros: nothing to say its 23 years old, 79 750km on the clock , its to much fun to drive for words, yes it does do a 15 sec quarter !!!
Cons: even after all the loving care one can give the leather upholstery is cracking no splits yet, tip, don't park your soft top in direct sunlight for extended periods
Overall review: its a total classic, if you can buy one

Find One Before They're Gone by E30 Enthusiast on 01/03/2011. Trim: 1988 BMW 325is, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Still looks great, 25 years later.. actually own an'86, but the ratings don't go that old. Ours is a Canadian model M-tech, but built to US spec's and originally destined for Austria.... she's a little mixed up, but we love her! Love the Euro dash with C* and Km. Completely rebuilt by BMW specialist, recommend doing that if you get one of these. Low stance, great road feel, everything works, houndstooth country cloth holding up ok, and never ceases to get looks.
Cons: It's old. It takes premium fuel, mileage is around 20, saftey features are way behind the times, so it is not an everyday driver. Parts are pricey, and hard to find at times, but that's what you get when you choose to drive one of these machines. Nobody buys one by accident! It took six months of looking to find ours. Be patient if you're looking for one, as there are a lot of junky ones out there, and unless you pay more up front for one that's been worked on already, don't expect to save by buying one to fix yourself, as you will be in for many a withdrawl from your savings account!
Overall review: Great classic car, and if you find a good one, buy it and hang on to it. Two door is most desirable. E30's are a collectable car and worth investing in. Get involved with other enthusiasts, as there are lots of clubs for them and it's great to get to know people who know where to get parts and find unusual add on's like the factory rear window sunshade, books, manuals etc.

Pros: Awesome car after 25+ years in service. Will keep up with modern vehicles (only if well maintained by owners). Won't miss out on the true BMW "Ultimate original driving machine" car. Still average 25mpg city/ 30mpg hwy.
Cons: Not enough of these awesome on the roads.
Overall review: pre-Chris Bangels era

Pros: Fun to drive. Very reliable car for daily use. Look very nice
Cons: Some parts are difficult to find. Expensive to repair.
Overall review: It’s a very looking car and has a nice handle. For a car with 23 years old runs like a new model.
