Working Man’s review by Navy from Cleveland Oh on 10/06/2012. Trim: 2010 Ram 1500 SLT Crew Cab 4WD, Owned 1 year.

Pros: I have been driving mine for about 2 years, 70,000 miles zero issues. At this point this is the best truck I have ever owned out of 5 (Dodge 1500, Ford 150,Ranger, Toyota Tundra, and Avalanche). My 2010 Ram gets 24-28 mpg highway with cruise control in the Cleveland topography, far and away better than the “Consumer Reports, "as tested"” review. Hill assist is a wonderful tool when towing with very little drift-back if any. The fact I can fill this truck in Cleveland OH travel to Vermilion OH and then on to Alcoa TN, point to point is 569 miles on one tank of fuel in traffic, with hills and still have enough fuel in a 26 g tank, to not worry about if I'm going to make it, is astounding!
Cons: Cost, general maintenance is expensive. If it is done on time the benefits are nice but, with an oil change costing $60 every 6-7 weeks in addition to each tire online cost is over $250 (granted limited repetitiveness) still times 5. The Flex Fuel idea is nice but with the availably being very sparse and the poor fuel economy (when compared to gas) makes it an ineffective addition to the truck. Iridium spark plugs, are an amazing advancement but when quality and availably is limited, the price is high. The blind spot in the headlight coverage to the far right or left gives an unsettled feeling when navigating the very narrow roads in the back country of Pikeville KY.
Overall review: Overall I see this as a step in the right direction for the future of Ram, from the styling to functionality. In a couple of more years and I trade it off, I can’t wait to see what they have up their sleeves. As of now I am a Ram Man.

Pros: I looked at the everything in the class and this flat blew them away. Great ride plenty of room, and tuff enuff to tackle anything on or off the farm. The price was at least 3 grand less then chevy, ford or toyota, and it has a lot more power...
Cons: I wish it came with a gas card
Overall review: Best on the market for price and power

Awesome 4x4 by PaulM from Las Vegas,NM on 09/11/2010. Trim: 2010 Ram 1500 Sport Quad Cab 4WD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Purchased my 2010 Ram 1500 4x4 sport quad cab, about 6 months ago, early 2010, it''s been a great truck thus far, control the gas pedal-on the highway and in town and does fairly well , up to 23 mpg above 70mph and up to 17mpg below 50mph. Very smooth ride and plenty of power, especially pulling my 27 foot-7500 lb camper trailer, although gas mileage ranges from 5-12mpg on the highway, what do you expect?. The extra options including the navigation, surround sound,dvd,power/brake, tow package, are nice I must say, not to mention the dual exhaust and sport hood. We be stylin. Good job DODGE
Cons: A bit low to the ground especially when four wheeling but no major problems.
Overall review: A great powerful truck especially when compared to the other two, whether it be a 6.0L or 6.2L, , Dodge has more horses and torque for a 5.7L 4x4, stay with gas and save on fuel and maintenance, nothing more sportier and powerful than the new DODGE RAM.

Mine didn't last long before the problems came. by Farmermanidaho on 02/26/2014. Trim: 2010 Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD, Owned 4 years.
Useful?
Pros: I loved it at first. Nice smooth ride for a pickup. Lots of power. Looks good although I still prefer the looks of ford and gm.
Cons: Fuel mileage has always been poor. after 60,000 miles truck just started giving me problems. Random leaky radiator just cracked for no apparent reason. Engine makes a loud ticking sound that has gotten worse (they say it is common and call it the "hemi tick"). Now consuming oil at an alarming rate. Had to have some work done on the rear axle. Faulty sensor for the traction control. The plastic ignition switch wore out already. The seat has torn at the seams already just from getting in and out of the truck everyday. Other things as well. Went from best truck I ever owned to worst truck in a short amount of time. Ram still has a lot of work to do to improve reliability/longevity.
Overall review: I would not recommend ram pickups anytime soon. They need to improve the quality and durability. Stick with ford or chevy.
