Pros: Good ride for a small car and great gas mileage.

Cons: Paint finish could be a lot better too much orange peel.

Pros: Traded our 2007 in for a newer 2010 ans love it. Added moon roof and grea t for the summer months.

Cons: None yet.

Brakes and rotors needed after only 27,000 miles---watch out! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 06/03/2013. Trim: 2010 Hyundai Elantra SE, Owned 4 years.

Useful?

Pros: Nice car for the money. Lots of room inside and a big trunk.

Cons: I am very disappointed that my rear brakes and rotors need replaced aftero only 27,000 miles, and they are not cheap to replace! Road noise is very loud. I had to replace the original tires as they were horrible in ohio winters. Hyundai service is very aggressive in wanting to do additional repairs whenever car is brought in for routine maintenance, and the maintenace is rather expensive.

Overall review: The car is roomy and on par with other small cars as far as ride comfort. Too noisy. Maintenance is too expensive, such as needing new spark plugs, radiator flush, brake fluid change etc. all at 30,000 miles!
