"THE "NO SUSPENSION" CAR by sport sally from the Bronx, NY on 10/16/2009. Trim: 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback GTS, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The engine, transmission, cruise, braking, steering all work well and are easy to operate.
Cons: The fuel economy is below par. The suspension is weak. It seems like there is no suspension - you are "the suspension!" There is a lot more road noise than my prior 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer es. The rear view is not good. There is no light in the trunk -you can not see anything in there at night. There is also no remote trunk release. The buttons on the Steering wheel are not illuminated so you cannot see them at night. The front and rear headlights are not illuminated just because the dash board is, like on most cars. The back support is not great on the front seats because the head rests are slanting too far forward preventing your upper back from really hitting the seat - causing fatigue.
Overall review: If I were aware of all the imperfections this car has, I would not have bought it. I would have opted for the less expensive es or de which does not have seem to have so many problems like the gts models have. The dealer test drove me on a smooth perfect road - maybe he was aware of the suspension problem. I find the car is better on the highway because: better fuel economy, rides fast and holds road like glue (unless it hits a bump), the engine is not out of breath at 95mph. Despite the fact that the engine is quiet, there is still too much road noise? In the city, the car uses up too much fuel, is hard to maneuver because of rear visibility and width and is unpleasant to drive because the suspension does not absorb anything and is not up to par with its competitors. The car is a beautiful looking car in and out - everywhere people stare at it. But the beauty is only skin deep. By the way, the key is very expensive to replace. The good news is that the car has a very long warranty

Ralliart Sportback, best car i've ever owned! by Scott on 04/13/2012. Trim: 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Ralliart, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Acceleration, handling, looks, reliability, TC-SST transmission is furiously fast, practicality. MPG combined is 22mpg. Gets a real spare tire unlike EVO's green goo can.
Cons: Fuel tank is only 14.5 gallons.
Overall review: Truly amazing car. The best i have ever owned including my EVO VIII and 2003 bug-eyed scoobie. I am 42 years old and this car strikes a perfect balance for me. Not as fast as a WRX (when the Subaru driver dumps the clutch at 3k) but from a normal acceleration launch, it has smoked quite a few kids and their 'modified' 2010-11 WRX'. LOVE IT.

2010 Ralliart Sportback - Best of Both Worlds by Rod from Oregon on 12/19/2010. Trim: 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Ralliart, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Excellent Handling and Acceleration. TC-SST transmission is great for both city driving, and winding county roads. The Ralliart has full-time all-wheel drive, so it is good for winter driving. The Navigation system is one of the best I have ever used. The blue-tooth phone integration works very well.
Cons: - Ride is a little stiff; however, this is a "sport" tuned car. - Recaro seats could use more adjustments, like height and lumbar. - Cup holders are a little small, need to hold Venti size drinks - Audio system needs iPod integration
Overall review: Overall I would recommend this car to anyone that is looking for a sport 5-door with AWD, Navigation, decent performance, and Auto transmission. I can't use a clutch well anymore due to pain in left knee, so this is one of only a few cars that meets all of my criteria. And, it is just a heck of a lot of fun to drive. (oh, and there is a light in the hatch area, and the controls do light up on the steering wheel)
