Pleasantly Surprised - Very Nice by DJC - Dallas on 12/03/2010. Trim: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Well built, quiet and strong V8 engine with decent fuel economy. The interior is large enough for four adults to be comfortable and the Bose stereo is very nice. I like the fact that it goes down to a V4 while on straightaways.
Cons: My girlfriend wants to drive it.
Overall review: This is the most comfortable vehicle in the family fleet. Was looking for an SUV, but with $10k off the sticker I thought I'd check it out. Fell in love with the truck. Rides smooth and quiet, getting 23 mpg on the highway and the styling turns heads. This is a highway cruising dream. Good job Detroit.

Great truck by Pooklee from florida on 03/21/2011. Trim: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT1 Crew Cab 2WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Very spacious, comfortable, easy to drive. Can haul a lot of stuff
Cons: No offer of cooled seats (sorry- i had a 7 series before this...)
Overall review: I bought this after driving a 3 series and then a 7 series. I still enjoy driving this truck even 6 months later- which for me is amazing. One of the easiest trucks to drive for someone that is used to cars. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have all the options I would like- like heated and cooled seats. But i understand, it's a truck and most people are not looking for that in a truck. After market add ons (like a retractable tonneau cover) are very easy to add.

OK truck by The other guy on 12/18/2012. Trim: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT1 Crew Cab 4WD, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Lots of room, ride, drives like a car, MINE DID NOT BURN OIL!!!!!!! Traction control worked almost too good.
Cons: Truck had a hard time pulling a 6.5' x 12' utility trailer or my 18' boat, it would constantly change gears. No power. Clear coat was very soft (scratched really easily) The black cloth seats showed water spots really bad almost looked like a stain.
Overall review: This truck was bought to pull a trailer and it did a poor job, I had a V8 Dakota that did a better (not great) job. The 88-07 models were a better truck. Not trying to bash Chevrolet but they can do better. Traded it in yesterday. Would have kept the truck if it had performed better. I have always liked chevy but if you want a truck get a Ram, F150, or a Tundra, at lease til Chevrolet does better.

Best Truck For The Buck by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/10/2011. Trim: 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Work Truck Long Box 2WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Performance, ride quality, value.
Overall review: I have had this truck for almost a year and could not be happier with it. Have close to 12,000 miles on the odometer and not one single problem. Average 16-18 mpg during winter months and 20-21 so far this spring with warmer weather. The ride is smooth (for a truck), and the accelleration is amazing. I love this truck!
