Maybe the best combination of Performance and Luxury on the road........... by Cruncher, Asheville, NC on 12/04/2010. Trim: 2011 Jaguar XJL Supersport, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Fantastic performance for a 4200+ lb. car. Fast, Maneuverable at all speeds and in all conditions. Live in the mountains of Western North Carolina and takes everything the mountains and altitude throws at it. Luxury of materials in the Supersport is unmatched by any othe vehicle in its class. Probably under priced for all you get.
Cons: Rear view through mirror is somewhat poor but you get used to it. You forget the problem the more you drive it. A small discomfort given all the other enjoyments.
Overall review: A must own if you have the bucks and time to wait for a custom build

Limo in steroids by JCMoya Spring Hill Florida on 05/24/2014. Trim: 2011 Jaguar XJL Supercharged, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: * Superb Handling for such big car * Power Power Power * Exterior and Interior design * Unique / exclusivity * Impressive car audio system
Cons: just one annoyance........ super slow touch-screen interface.
Overall review: Perfect balance of Big Luxury and Sport car. It has a split personality, dr jekyll mr hyde. Ohh boy, that checkered-flag-imprinted button (Dynamic Mode) in Sport mode can be so dangerous (NASCAR). Contrary to most of the other cars in this segment, the the best seat on the XJL is...... the driver's seat. Owned two 7 series, driven the S and A8, and hands down this is a much better "driver's car" than its rivals. The S may be more comfortable but the drive is too..... uninspired. Also, it feels good there are not many cars on the road like it. In Tampa, the 7 Series, S, and the A8 are everywhere (bellybuttons). Only the Panamera comes close (or beat the XJL Supercharge) but the V8 is way too expensive.

Better than Mercedes S Class by Al from Sarasota on 11/18/2010. Trim: 2011 Jaguar XJ, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Exterior and Interior design are fantastic. Fabulous electronics, leather and wood. Very easy to use GPS with touch screeen. It is fun to drive and is a rocket. Built-in back-up camera is great. It even displays full color at night. It is very helpful.
Cons: The car feels solid and huge when driving or parking. Poor rear visabilty but camera addresses this problem.
Overall review: Best car I have ever owned. Outstanding value compared to Mercedes S Class. Lower cost Bentley alternative. Distinctive styling inside and out. Mercedes, BMW and Lexus are boring by comparison.

Jagdeo? Monguar? by USBear2012 on 08/14/2010. Trim: 2011 Jaguar XJ, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: See below.
Cons: It looks like a Ford Mondeo. Mondeo is a nice looking car, but it's not a Jag...and neither is this. My 62 Mark 2...a 68 XJ...an E type, an XK 120, 140, 150...THOSE were Jags.
Overall review: See above.
