A5 is the BEST

Pros:
I purchased this car in September 2009. Since then I have put over 59k miles on the car. It rides well, is stylish and it turns heads everywhere. It has tight steering and great acceleration. This is the ONLY car I have ever had in which the car is worth more today than I owe on it almost 30 months later. Mechanically, I purchased the Audi care and the extended warranty (to 100k miles). The only issue that I had was the water pump which was covered under the extended warranty and was given a rental car free of charge while it was fixed.
Cons:
While the back seat is tight, I wouldn't have bought it if I regularly had someone sit back there. I do hate red console lights and wish that a full color monitor/display was considered instead.
Overall review:
My son is buying this car from me, and after driving the A7, the BMW 3 and 5 series, the Lexus I series and the Maxima, I found I am buying another A5 because the other cars don’t compare. I love the car. If you are looking for a car that is fun to drive, isn't like everyone else's vehicle and looks and drives far more than what you paid for it- then the A% is the way to go.

Pros:
Very solid Teutonic car with steady and sold drive train. Excellent interior, more like a Porsche or Corvette than a Coupe. I have the six speed with its road performance but not the best for city driving
Cons:
Got to be carefull with low profile wheels and tyres do pick up some road nails. Very wide tyres.
Overall review:
Solid value and not a flaw yet.

dash controls could be simpler
Overall review:
The most bang for the buck!! Get the base with manual and sports package and you have a sharp looking driver for under $40,000!!! Don't be fooled thinking a 2.0 liter engine with 211hp and 258 ft/lbs of torque can't move. The gearing and balance make this a true performer which is lots of fun to drive. And you can't beat the mileage - 30-34mpg on the highway!

Pros:
Don't be fooled by those who tell you quattro is only better in some cases. Well case closed all wheel drive is simply better in every scenario. That is why no rally has been won by 2 wheels traction since the introduction of quattro in the 80s.
Cons:
Bang and Olufsen stereo system is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Guys sorry to inform you all A5s A4s and Q5s have a defect in their Bang and Olufsen Stereos. To prove it to you, (Surprised?) your sound will be way better when you play a DVD compared to a CD or MP3.... However it will not play as loud. The music has obvious distortion and a wish that plays up and down with the base. It is not the speakers since it improves (not perfect) with DVD. Audi admitted and promised me they will work on it but nothing happened since march 2010. Premium sound is a must for me. For music lovers this is not acceptable especially when you pay top $ for an option.
Overall review:
As much as I hate the Bang and Olufsen Stereo system, which I believe damaged the car, I still prefer my A5 on any 2 door BMW - That 2.0TFSI is more than Impressive - Unbeatable traction Quattro and DSG transmission - Always complemented for the looks especially the LED Lights - the MMI best feature is that the volume is at console hand reach - climate control has less noise and more efficient than BMW - perfect steering feel and radius BMW is too hard and bites the wheel - body feels light yet very solid BMW feels like you are wearing an armored jacket yet has more flex - easy to use features and actually made better not just different - Do not get me wrong I am a fan of BMW but I vote this as the ultimate driving machine for those and other reasons (such as no engine lag)

A-5 fun-fun!

Pros:
I went from a 6 series convertible to the convertible A5. Gas mileage doubled, style was up to day. Top worked great. And instead of a trip a month to the dealer for repairs I have only been in for an oil change! Love it
Cons:
I maybe should have gotten the 4x4. But the front wheel drive is not bad.

Very Very happy with this vehicle.
