A Great All-Around SUV by Cheryl on 01/25/2012. Trim: 2010 Chevrolet HHR 2LT, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Just bought this SUV a few months ago, used, and love it. I have put 3 or 4 teenagers and 2 labrador retrievers in it and still had room to store beach gear or picnic supplies. The under floor storage is great to hide all the stuff the dogs would otherwise snack on while we are on the road. MPG is running 25 city32-25 hwy for me. Ive hauled everything from siding for my house to sod for my yard and never lacked for room with the fold-flat seats.
Cons: Need to have a redesign on the cupholders in the front. It never fails to turn on the rear wiper when I put my travel coffee mug in the cup holder if the HHR is in park. Backing up is a little dicey also as the range of vision in the blindspot is larger than I'm used to.
Overall review: Overall I would rate this a solid 9.9. I'm just a bit unhappy with the amenities for the driver-side and the blindspots. But I guess a smaller coffee cup and wide-view mirrors will take care of most of my problems.

best buy for small suv by uncle del from zellwood on 03/31/2011. Trim: 2010 Chevrolet HHR LS, Owned 1 year.
Pros: i have solid rear panel which eliminated 2 windows and it does not interfere with rear view when backing up. car has excellent pickup and gets very good mileage both in-town and expressway. can haul 2 x 4's when passengers seat is down and still close rear door. wife loves to drive this vehicle and with rear net can load, haul and unload groceries with ease. get a lot of good comments on style and after a year and a half have had no issues with anything. i'm 6' 2"--240 lbs and can fit in and out easily and also fit in rear seat behind driver with no leg room issues--lol
Cons: no dislikes
Overall review: great little vehicle for around town or long drives

Wheel bearing problems. by An MSN Autos Consumer on 11/12/2013. Trim: 2010 Chevrolet HHR 2LT, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Great for most people and families...
Cons: Change in warrantee! GM. Stopped covering wheel bearings in 2010. They covered them in 2007 thru 2009. So when a bearing goes out about 50,000 miles, it's a $400.00 bill to get it fixed.GM had problems with wheel bearing so just pass it off on the customer...that,s the new GM
Overall review: Wheel bearings.. First major problem

Stuck! by Sweets of Oregon on 05/22/2011. Trim: 2010 Chevrolet HHR LS, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The look, easy slide into seats, warning gauges, gas effecient
Cons: Brandnew 2010 - Brakes after owning for 6 months make an awful noise, small inside trim of handles broke off, seats unravel/tear to easy, not enough leg room in back seats, over priced.
Overall review: I feel this vehicle is over priced and very worried about getting into accident. There is not much protection and dents easy (already been been backed into) totally damaged 2 doors. Gets great gas milage and is easy to get in and out of. Trim on inside tends to be cheap and has already broke within 6 months of brand new purchase. With the price I paid I feel that it will not last another 5 years for cheaply made compared to other high priced vehicles.
