Most disappointing vehicle ever by Bud from Nashville on 06/20/2011. Trim: 2010 Cadillac SRX Luxury Collection, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Beautiful styling and nice luxury touches such as the real wood. I also really liked the rain sensing wipers. The feel of the steering and handling was also very nice.
Cons: I owned this vehicle just over a year and got rid of it, because I was afraid of more and more things going wrong with it. It was underpowered, and the engine was not only extremely loud, it also strained to accelerate. The transmission hunts for gears in lower ranges. In cold weather the steering in the front wheels created a very loud grinding noise, which was somewhat alleviated by having the front strut mounts replaced. There were lots of rattles in the cargo area and back hatch, with more appearing every day. A car this nice should also come with fog lights as standard equipment. I feel GM rushed this car to market without enough troubleshooting to work out obvious engineering flaws.
Overall review: Overall, the 2010 Cadillac SRX is the most disappointing vehicle I've ever owned. I wouldn't recommend this vehicle to anybody else.

Great Ride by Skip texas on 07/05/2012. Trim: 2010 Cadillac SRX AWD Performance Collection, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Just purchased a used 2010. Had 26K miles on it and was just like new. Even had the new car smell to it. Took it on a short business trip earlier this week and wow.............. what an experience. Nothing but pleasurable. Gas mileage was around 22 - 23 mpg. Love the navigation, back up camera, HDD. So many bells and whitles still learning everything. I have nothing but raves for mine.
Cons: Blind spot from drivers seat, but if you adjust your mirrors correctly then it is not an issue once you get used to it. Took me a bit but once i did then no longer an issue. Other than that no complaints whatsoever
Overall review: Nothing but kudos. Great ride, and style. Love mine and i have only had it for a week.

Throughly test before you buy by Bflour on 08/12/2010. Trim: 2010 Cadillac SRX Performance Collection, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: This vehicle has great styling. It's the style that prompted me to look at it in the first place. Great options for the price.
Cons: The suspension of the Performance model is quite harsh and road noise is very noticable. I should have test dorve on several different types of pavement other than the nice, smooth street that the salesman took me on. The base engine really revs and struggles under acceleration and makes it a little concerning when merging in traffic. Not to mention the engine noise! I've had it for 5 months now and have had to take it to the dealer for a non-working passenger door handle twice and now the outside silver trim along the windows is just falling off. Had the dealer order new trim a month ago and was told that it was on back-order with the supplier and didn't know when it would be in.
Overall review: I am disappointed with the quality of this vehicle. I expected a lot more from a Cadillac. I traded a Mercedes E Class for the SRX and maybe I got spoiled but, I've had Chevrolets and Buicks with MUCH better quality and performance for less money. I think that GM is headed in the right direction but Cadillac needs to get a handle on their quality control. The issues could just be with my vehicle since other reviews are more positive.

Beautiful SUV, but problematic by Tony on 02/28/2013. Trim: 2010 Cadillac SRX AWD Luxury Collection, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Styling, luxury features, handling
Cons: Let us down twice, first was air flow sensor, then the whole throttle body needed replacement, at only 70,000 km all under warranty, but still disturbing enough to sell it in favour of a 2013 Sante Fe. Problems with display and seat memory seetings not holding. Servicing differential oils was expensive. Controls on dash not user friendly...dash not laid out well.
Overall review: Very luxurious vehicle, handled well, a bit inder-powered though, they should never have cancelled the 3.6 l engine in favour of a 3.0 l, in this model year.
