Bad buy
by Disapointed on 10/19/2012.
Owned 2 years.

Pros:
I like that it holds 7 people, sunroof, leather. Warranty work done with little hassles. They have a great service department and are friendly. It is the 2010 Ex Premium package
Cons:
We get 25 MPG highway. Have had this car over two years multiple breakdowns and problems. Do not drive on gravel or any road with potholes or rough spots. We have gotten 3 wheel alignments and are now on a third set of tires. The cd player and usb only work sporadically. I can see why KIA is no longer selling this car.
Overall review:
I would look at buying something else. We were so happy when we first purchased the car as it had the seating of a minivan but the size of a car so we would get better mileage as we drive about 60,000km on our vehicles a year. This car gets the same as my much older extended minivan with less space.

Perfect car nobody "got".
by Rileybreed on 06/28/2012.
Trim: 2009 Kia Rondo EX V6, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Seats 7, yet feels like your driving a small car. Visibility is incredible! Sporty and peppy (V6). Seats fold flat! The only way to go is fully loaded. Great all year round through any weather, in any situation except heavy off-road. Perfect suburban/highway vehicle! Still made and sold in Canada! Traded in my 2007 for a 2012...love it.
Cons:
Should have a AWD option. Not built and sold in US anymore. More people haven't realized how awesome the vehicle really is! (V6 Luxury model)
Overall review:
Many uses, very comfortable, sporty feel, good on gas, haul cargo and kids, room for groceries and still fit in tight parking spots.

Love my Rondo
by Len C., Akron, NY on 04/22/2011.
Trim: 2009 Kia Rondo LX V6, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
The 6 cyl. engine is wonderful excellent acceleration if needed and still very respectable gas mileage of 23 around town and 30+ highway. Passenger seating is huge even though my passengers are Siberian Huskies. Drop the seats down level and you have a mini cavern for loading goods into the vehicle. Radio and other controls are easily within reach. Good night vision but at times wish I had the fog/driving light option. As to the styling yes it is in my opinion a rather "Plain Jane," but beauty is only skin deep and this car has plenty of inner beauty. Sort of who would you like to get it on with, a raving beauty that just lies there or a good girl that'll give you the ride of your life.
Cons:
My biggest dislike is the way the dashboard hangs out into the door opening when entering the car. Oh gosh how I've felt like I've left my right knee cap on the dash panel to many times when entering. This is not a car you enter when in a hurry. I'm only 5' 10" tall and will assume the taller you are the more hurting you can receive.
The storage bins on the front doors are slotted and wish they weren't, as small trash can fall out before you have a chance to remove it at your discretion.
Really these are about the only 2 complaints I have.

Overall review:
Its a Kia, not a Lexus or Benz so don't compare this orange to the apples. Its a very good and dependable orange. Dollar for dollar you'll be better off getting the Kia.

"No Lemon Here!"
by Dan - Kingston Nova Scotia on 02/03/2010.
Trim: 2009 Kia Rondo EX V6, Owned 1 year.
1
Pros:
It's responsive handling even in ice and snow conditions with all weather tires. No 43 mpg but the 38 mpg is just great and was expected (not being a believer in the honesty of car sales people).
Cons:
When using the remote starter the vehicle has flooded out at least four times since purchasing it new three months ago.
Overall review:
We did have a lot of problems when we first purchased the vehicle but all the problems were caused by the after-market remote starter. KIA Dealer was superb in handling that problem and get a 10/10 for their response and action.

Kia Rondo
by NanaK12 on 01/13/2013.
Trim: 2009 Kia Rondo EX V6, Owned 5 years.
Useful?
Pros:
It handles nice in the snow. Never have a problem with it.
Cons:
The tires, michllin tires wore out with 20,000 miles on them. Should of had better tires on it. I only have 28,000 miles on it as of today.
Overall review:
I like my Rondo. I will keep it until it doesn't run anymore.
