Send me away by double A from Great Lakes on 05/25/2011. Trim: 2009 Nissan Sentra FE+ 2.0 SL, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The most dependable car in all types of weather including in the middle of a 30-year Chicago blizzard. Not only is the electric steering precise enabling tight corners, the gauges are accurate and easy to read, and the transmission as smooth as silk. Styling is fairly classy with the front and back garnering good looks, and the interior is appealing as well. Much interior room especially headspace, trunk, and glovebox. It seems to have more power than it actually optimizing performance for my highly achieved mpg, steady accelerations, and quietness. It could really climb a mountain. And the 6-speaker radio/multi-CD player is another quality option with controls on the steering wheel.
Cons: The armwrest is too far back for those average height or shorter, some inside plastics seem to scrape easily, having the gas filling opposite the driving side, the car will fishtail hitting a hard bump at high speeds, bland styling from the sides, and the AC stays on as you click the vent back to normal air flow from defrost, although you can readily manually shut off the AC in normal airflow mode. Perhaps routine maintenance cost only in transmission fluid changes could be higher than average. The sides could warrant some bump protection.
Overall review: A fantastic commuter car that has higher capacity and working trunk that can hall larger items, or it can be the most underated economy car with diverse available options to boost it up to a high-quality family car. I feel my Sentra will go 150,000 miles without much surprising maintenance issues.

Great car. by Robert on 01/30/2011. Trim: 2009 Nissan Sentra FE+ 2.0 SL, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I bought this car used was a lease. I wanted a low mileage car without the new car price. The sentra has nice styling and has good room in side. The CVT is smooth and picks up good speed. The controls are easy to use and well placed.
Cons: Door armrest a thin and flex if you push down on them.
Overall review: Good car for the price. Good on gas and easy to get around in and park. Also easy to get in and out of car. If you want a sports car buy a sports car. The sentra does what it is made for.

Ultimate Cheated Car by looser! on 11/22/2010. Trim: 2009 Nissan Sentra 2.0, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Exterior design
Cons: I got the FE+ and I was told Fuel Economy Plus and vehicle can travel longer distance in highway. This is not true, I felt cheated. Engine is noisy to start and slow in taking off specially if your live on a busy highways or City, other drivers tent to hunk in madly manners. Breaking is poor, makes grinding noise feels like my tire is about to run away from the vehicle specially on down hill driving.
Overall review: If I have a choices, I will return the vehicle back to dealer. Insurance got expensive because I was told Nissan Sentra was rated poor and this is why it's more expensive than my Honda. I recommend to contact your insurance provider before baying this car.

Great little car by killa from toronto on 08/25/2010. Trim: 2009 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: For a small car the Sentra feels very solid, from the closings of the door to the composure it has over the bumps on the road. The interior is well laid out and feels spacious and airy despite the car looking small from the outside. The CVT transmission is smooth but car feels slow at first, once underway it moves quite nice and makes good use of the engines power. Fuel economy is excellent (over 30mpg doing about 80% road driving) because the engine revs very low. Easy to use controls are within reach and move smoothly. The trip computer screen is a nice touch as well. The turning circle is very tight making parking very easy.
Cons: Small rear glass, it's part of the design but some more visibility would be nice. Sideview mirrors are also a bit small but easy to get used to after a while of driving. Bit of a challenge fitting large items into the trunk but the smart design of the hinges make things a bit less complicated.
Overall review: Having driven a 01 Mazda Protege for 5 years this Nissan Sentra came as a surprise in the way it drives. A solid but quiet ride and comfort that you'd find in a midsize sedan is present in this Sentra. This car accomodates all the needs and wants in a small car and is built to excellent standards (not a squeak or rattle).

Small outside, Roomy inside by Mark from Michigan on 04/08/2010. Trim: 2009 Nissan Sentra FE+ 2.0 SL, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Cash for clunkers resulted in our unplanned purchase. Was initially concerned that at 6'5" I would miss the room in our van. Our mileage since day one has averaged 31.3 with mostly short city trips. The CVT is very smooth and seamless. The handling and ride is also suprisingly good. The car holds the road taking turns without pedal lift or braking. The high roofline makes the interior seem larger than it is. Like the controls once I learned all the features and functions.
Cons: Seatbelts are hard to engage; especially on the passenger seat, there is inadequate hand clearance between seat and console. Trunk is too small for large luggage. Dealer did an inadequate job of explaining controls and prepping vehicle. Found mats still in plastic in the trunk. Dash pops in cold weather, suspect dissimilar plastic materials.
Overall review: Great little car, exceeds most of our small car expectations. Mileage is still improving. At first we thought that we would not be able to fit into anything less than an Altima. If dealer finds and takes care of the noisy dash in cold weather we plan on keeping this car forever.
