ONE AWESOME VEHICLE by NJBikeBuilder on 10/13/2009. Trim: 2009 Lexus GS 460, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The "460" makes great power, is extremely comfortable (even for me at 6'2") and quiet, handling is awesome... even in standard mode... "sport" makes it even more fun! Fit and finish is fantastic. It all just works. Great exterior styling too!
Cons: If I had to pick on something; the mirror controls in the flip out box on the left side of the steering wheel is a bit odd... BUT... how often do you adjust your mirrors once their set??? Like I said... I'm nit-pickin' here!
Overall review: What ever it is you were thinking about purchasing... you owe it to yourself to go out and drive one of these first! If you do... I think you'll forget about that 'other' car you WERE THINKING ABOUT purchasing.

Check the speedometer by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/20/2009. Trim: 2009 Lexus GS 350, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Lots of power, this car was built to be driven fast
Cons: the interior is a little cramped. wished that the rear seat legroom and overall cabin headroom was an inch greater.. but I suppose if you want style, you must compromise on size.
Overall review: has been great so far with 5000 miles on the odometer with no problems with fit or finish. This is our 2nd Lexus and will continue to be loyal to the brand.

Nice Automobile by Fred, Citrus Heights, CA on 08/23/2009. Trim: 2009 Lexus GS 350, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Fit and finish is first rate throughout the vehicle. The car has all the power you can legally use. Handles very well and steering is very precise. Although the ride is firm, in part due to the 18" wheels, it is a great road car. Excellent interior and exterior lighting. We have the nav system and the control panel is easy to operate. Like the fact the GS is one of the few cars that comes with a tapedeck. I also like the ability to upshift/downshift the transmission.
Cons: Some of the controls are difficult to access. The outside mirrors cannot be adjusted while driving without taking your eyes off the road. Same is true to operate the cruise control. The cruise control controls should be on the horn pad as they are in many cars. For whatever reason Lexus puts the cruise control on a lever behind the steering wheel. Placing some of the controls in a pop out box that is hidden by the steering wheel may make styling sense, but not good operating sense. This box is where the mirror contols are hidden. Would like to have guages for oil pressure and charging system. Engine access is not user friendly but much better than the ES.
Overall review: Great car to drive. As mentioned above the fit and finish throughout is excellent. This is my second Lexus, the first was an ES 350. While the ES was a good car with no problems, the GS is much better.

SPORTINESS + LUXURY by LOVING IT on 04/29/2009. Trim: 2009 Lexus GS 350, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: THIS VEHICLE IS AWESOME. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. LOOKING FOR SPORTINESS + LUXURY THIS IS IT!!!
Cons: NO COMPLAINTS
Overall review: THIS VEHICLE IS AWESOME. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. IT’S SUITABLE FOR THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR THE COMFORT OF A LUXURY VEHICLE (YOU’LL DEFIANTLY HAVE THAT IN A LEXUS), THE SPORTINESS OF A SPORTS VEHICLE ALL IN ONE. THE LS SERIES IS A GREAT VEHICLE AS WELL BUT THE SIZE OF IT IS DRAW BACK. IT HAS MORE HP, BUT BEHIND THE WHEEL, IT LACKS THAT QUICKNESS OF THE GS SERIES AND I CAN IMAGINE IT’S LARGER SO THAT HAS A LOT TO DO WITH IT. BUT THEY ARE GREAT.
