Fun to drive and live with but the sound could be improved! by Topgear35 from Canada on 09/08/2011. Trim: 2009 Nissan 370Z Touring Coupe, Owned 2 years.

Pros: I purchased an '09 with the Sport, Navigation and Touring packages with the 7-speed Automatic. It handles wonderfullly with precise steering. The sport brakes are excellent and take some time to get used to with how grippy and sensitive they are. The acceleration is linear and always available. I've got plenty of space for grocery shopping for 1-2 people and it draws plenty of thumbs up and looks from other drivers. The traction control is much improved over the 350Z/G35 as it's not such an anvil. Gas consumption is alright. I've been averaging 11.3L/100km combined city and highway. The audio is fantastic.
Cons: Tire noise can be pretty pronounced, but if you replace the stock tires with a different brand, it helps. The standard exhaust sound leaves much to be desired, especially since the 350Z had such a beautiful sound. I had the exhaust modified to bring out a good deal of the growl that you expect. Visibility is lacking for blind spots but most of that is fixed with those little fish eye mirrors. They've saved my life in previous cars and I have them on my 370 and it helps greatly. Backing out of spots takes a bit of caution but you get used to it. The ride is stiff and can be annoying on bumpy roads, but if you are considering this car, then that's probably not an issue for you.
Overall review: If you want a vehicle that provides a great amount of fun and a lot of features for the price, the 370Z is worth considering. Keep in mind that it's only a two seater so that's either good (Friends never ask you to ferry them around) or annoying (Trying to take the dog and someone to the park). Acceleration, braking, handling, thrill are all available in spades. The cons of this car shouldn't turn you away. The navigation system is wonderful although I need to update mine to get the latest entries. The sound system as mentioned is crisp and fills the cabin nicely. Excellent base and treble. The size of this car makes it easy to park and drive in tight spots, although the headlights of trucks and large suv's tend to go right into your mirrors since you are so low. The addition of ventilated seats (The convertible has them, not the coupe) would be nice for the summer, but the leather and alcantara seats are supportive and comfortable.

Pros: Handling and accleration are superb and very responsive. The styling sets it apart from other vehicles. This car was meant to be pushed to the limits.
Cons: Noisy interior, blind spots, would like a turbo option
Overall review: Incredible car. There are plenty of reasons why owners are loyal to the Z line.

370 Z The car for me... by Lady Z on 06/24/2010. Trim: 2009 Nissan 370Z Touring Coupe, Owned 1 year.

Pros: If you like to drive and love the feel of power this cars responds to your every need. The Z is a thrill to drive!!! If you test drive you will not leave the dealership without it! Sound system & cd memory beyond my expectations.
Cons: Road noise. Outside mirrors create blind spot.
Overall review: She's a beauty!!! This car turns a lot of heads. All the while you have the options of driving in automatic, stick, or with paddle shifters. Enjoy the many features of your sound system, navigation, and blue tooth. Relax in comfort and arrive in record time!

worth the look by R on 08/20/2009. Trim: 2009 Nissan 370Z Touring Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Curb appeal unlike much else on the road. Comfortable seats with all controls in close proximity. Synchro rev manual and VDC inspire confidence behind the wheel. As long as the parts are NISMO and dealer installed, performance enhancers such as air intake and cat back systems do not void factory warranty.
Cons: Fuel gauge light bar instead of gauge. The wide, sticky, 35 series Potenza tires kick up plenty of sand and pebbles into the rear wheel wells. Large door handles and boomerang headlights need to grow on me.
Overall review: The Z is a head turner and packs plenty of performance to back the look. It may lack the ride quality and quiet interior of competing brands, but that is no reason to dismiss this car. I challenge any buyer to find a total package like the Z with a comparable sticker price.
