Pros:
this is a great car. I LOVE the gas mileage- I get about 350 miles out of a tank. decent factory sound system, huge trunk, lots of elbow room, and I am 5'8" and have no problem fitting in the back seat. I've had it for 2 years and it's been very reliable.
Cons:
on long car rides, the seat gets uncomfortable. remember to pad it. also, the lights are supposed to turn off automatically, and so there is no "you left your lights on" alarm- they don't always turn off, which I learned when it was -5 degrees and the battery was dead.
Overall review:
I love this car. I have 3 friends that also have Spectras, and we all agree that it was a great deal. I feel very confident that I made a good choice, and I would do it again. I know Kia gets a bad rap. People chuckle when you say Kia, but I think they have really raised their standards in recent years. I drove a Nissan Sentra for 10 years before I bought this car, and I couldn't find another in my price range, and for less than $10,000, I got a spankin' new car that drives exactly the same as that one did. I would recommend this to anyone.

Pros:
Gas saver, over 32 miles per galon city, full load for the low price and everything works perfect, when you need be fast, wow , it is like a bullet, AC is the best that I saw so far get cold fast and very strong, suspension is the best because is not soft or hard I can say perfect.... I felt for my 2009 Kia Spectra!
Cons:
People talk bad about it, They have a bad experience and dont know what they are talking, if was a BMW they should talk bad too....
Overall review:
Good car, you cannot expect something like BMW, or Lexus but against Civic, Corolla, mazda3 all reliable cars but I still prefer my Spectra....

Boring little car.

Pros:
Great gas mileage, smooth ride, decent sound system, and a good price.
Cons:
Absolutely no power. The gas pedal needs to be pushed to the floor just to keep up with the rest of traffic. The automatic transmission never quite knows when to shift appropriately, which can cause really jerky acceleration from time to time. Not what I would call a looker, either.
Overall review:
I drove this car for a few weeks as a rental. It got great gas mileage and didn't give me any real problems. I felt it was really underpowered and it wasn't much fun to drive. The interior was set up in a way that left me feeling disconnected from the car. The Spectra is definitely for the person who just wants a cheap commuter and not for the driving enthusiast.

Pros:
The price was the selling feature on this car.
Cons:
Unfortunatley I purchased a LEMON!!!! If this Spectra gets below an 1/8th if a tank it may not start. I had been towed to the dealership on numberous occasions. 50 days in repairs and it still is not fixed no IDEA what is wrong with it. The dealership said to make sure there is atleast 1/4 tank of gas....what a joke!!
Overall review:
My car may be a fluke but KIA motors didn't stand by their product on this car. There are other cars out there that I am sure are great. Unfortunatley I was not taken care of as a consumer and my product was faulty. I will never again buy another KIA.

Pros:
stylish headlights, soft seats, comfortable lumbar , pretty good stereo, large back seat, pretty good handling.
Cons:
unreliable, dated look, dated interior, sluggish, cheap materials, a.c. struggles, not too good on gas, but it gets you from point A to point B... Okay... not something i would recommend
Overall review:
Me myself, I can't see myself in one of these, even a Kia/Hyundai. This car was unreliable for the week i reviewed it, it was a gas hog, and the gas tank is tiny, its underpowered, and the cloth is nice, but too light if you have kids, the cloth will most likely be brown in a month.. I wouldn't really recommend this car to anyone unless I hate them.
