Some advice.... by khpfromslc on 08/18/2009. Trim: 2009 Maybach 57 Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: no comment
Cons: To the Benz owner who was having trouble deciding about whether or not to purchase a used Maybach. You might consider that the average cost of repair, at a dealership, on a Mercedes Benz runs around $4-5000. If your Maybach has any sort of significant problems with it, better get ready to take a second mortgage on the house. Caveat Emptor.....

The Ultimate car? by Benz Owner. on 03/14/2009. Trim: 2009 Maybach 57 Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Overall review: I am a loyal Benz Owner most of my life as is my my father. We both love and dreamed of owning a Maybach one day since the day we first set our eyes on one at the auto show in 2004, but as most Americans today; we could never afford or consider the cost of a new one. Now however, used Maybach's are coming off lease and on the market down drastically in price from new to under $100,000 used for a car with under 30,000 miles. This is now reasonable and within my and other Americans price range who own, like, or stand behind Mercedes benz "S" class line of cars. The only question I have is, do I go after my dreams and purchase a well cared for low miles "USED" Maybach out of warranty, OR do I stay with what I know and continue buying a new "S" class Benz with a warranty? anyone have any ideas or suggestions if considering the same thing as I? love to hear from anyone in the know!
