Awesome Ride! by D. Peck- Wickliffe KY on 02/10/2011. Trim: 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X 4X4, Owned 2 years.
Pros: I love everything about this car. It's my first brand new car and I picked a good one. It handles well, it's fun off road, handles awesome in the snow and ice. Super pleased. We bought the car in Seattle, WA and moved to KY a few weeks later, it was great on the trip, got great gas mileage, and was super fun to drive.
Cons: There is only one complaint I have, The 'gutters' that run along the top of the doors stops a few inches too soon so when it's raining and you open the doors to get into/out of the car, the water drips down into the car and my legs end up getting wet along with my carpet because the water is dripping inside the car. If that little 'gutter' was just a couple inches longer, it would run down the side of the windshield instead of into the car.
Overall review: Overall, very pleased with my purchase. It's had 2 very minor recalls and the dealership has been awesome about getting me right in to get the problem taken care of. I really love my car.

Wrangler Sahara - Best of the Best! by redsky on 05/17/2009. Trim: 2009 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The 2009 Jeep Wrangler Sahara is fun to drive, stylish and capable anywhere under any conditions. The ride is much smoother and quieter than expected. The sirrius radio is a great perk. I am a very tall guy and was concerned about comfort in terms of headroom / legroom. The Wrangler is more than comfortable.
Cons: Needs more power at times. Should be made available with an optional V8. There should be a way to keep the back tailgate locked in an open position.
Overall review: The Wrangler Sahara combines all the best of the rugged "go anywhere" attributes that you would expect along with more than enough creature comforts to satisfy.

your personal mountain goat. by Revving it up in the ATL on 05/09/2009. Trim: 2009 Jeep Wrangler X, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: off road capability; classic "jeep" aesthetics, convertible fun, TONS of customizable options (aftermarket).
Cons: SLOOOOOOOW...at least with the automatic. The car shines best off-road, and between 20-60 mph.
Overall review: This is a pure "fun" car. Took it to moab and it didn't disappoint, except in the highway. The acceleration was anemic on highway hills (at least with the automatic tranny). It felt like the vehicle had a 4-cylinder instead of a V-6. Other than that, I highly recommend this as a solidly built, fun car. Don't get this if you're going to use it as a highway commuter or family car. Oh, and get the MANUAL tranny instead!!

Beep Beep - Gotta love a Jeep! by Shawn on 03/23/2009. Trim: 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4X4, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: One of a kind styling, overall features for the price, convertable.
Cons: Soft top takes a little getting use too...interior plastics scratch easily.
Overall review: Excellent vehicle overall. Styling is best in class - it's unique! I love having the only four door convertible on the market.

AWESOME by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/25/2009. Trim: 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X 4X4, Owned 1 year.
Pros: everything. I got a vehicle with the same or better off road capabilities of that of hummer, land rover, and toyota without the extra expense. If your looking for extra cup holders or luxury this vehicle is not for you. The wrangler is cheap to fix, rugged, and strong on any tipe of road envyroment where other vehicles cannot drive.
Cons: Power, power, power. I would had loved a diesel, but a future engine swap could fix the problem. I've seen a guy that swaped his wranglers 3.6L engine for a HEMI.
Overall review: Buy the 4x4 unlimited x version, if able a manual (it will save you cash and more MPG) avoid as many options as possible, And take advantage of the discounts and the price could be drop as much as 3k-5k as I did. I have added a 6 inch lift, 37 inch tires, after maker front and rear armor bumpers and guards, engine upgrades which added HP making it sound like a V8, delta off road lights, light guards, corner guards, rock sliders, armor underneath the vehicle, interior upgrades, and tinted windows, everything totaling about 7k but my wrangler looks much better than a 27 thousand dollar sahara, and a lot more than the 32 thousand dollar rubicon version has to offer. you can find many of this upgrades at quadratec or check out the JP magazines they also have plenty of good advice.
