Best Mini-Van I have driven by HondaDriver Omaha, NE on 03/09/2010. Trim: 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Feels very sturdy. Drives like a sedan. Wasn't aware that could control the power windows with the key remote. The oil change reminder and tire pressure monitor are also great features that will save you gas money and maintenance costs in the long run.
Cons: Not much to dislike. Except you can feel the VCM technology shifting cylinders. The head support is kind of awkward, but you can always replace it.
Overall review: Definitely the best family vehicle out there, at least until Honda releases their 2011 lineup. Great value for the money, you won't be sorry.

Hard to go wring, just do your part and take care of her. by mikemund on 08/19/2011. Trim: 2009 Honda Odyssey LX, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The room, the power, the ride, the seat comfort. If you can live without the fancy stuff, the LX is a great choice. Actually like the simplicity better. Keep Rand McNally in the pouch on the front seatback. That way you won't need a NAV system. Buy the kids portable DVD players, and plug them into the 12V outlets. That actually works out better, since no fights over which movie to watch. Lots cheaper than the integrated system, too.
Cons: Wish VCM had been standard with the LX in 2009. Wish it had a 6-speed transmission. Other than that, nothing major. Brake pedal a little mushy. Strange that MP3 input jack is so far away from radio.
Overall review: Lost a 2001 Odyssey to transmission trouble, so will be keeping the fluid changed every 30k in this one. Will religiously change oil and use 5w20 synthetic. Will do it myself if possible. Will follow the maintenance schedule to the letter. Overall, great value, and would recommend to anyone. Treat her right, and she'll treat you right. The only real alternative is the Toyota; everyone else has had serious issues.

The best Van available by specialk572 on 03/24/2011. Trim: 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/ DVD, Owned 2 years.
Pros: My 16 yearl old son flipped this car and landed on the top which and also slid into a brick garage. He had NO injuries - I recommend this car to anyone with children that drive. It is the best when I had to replace the car of course I got another Honda.
Cons: Wish that the spare was a full size.
Overall review: Great car for the family.

Very nice minivan. by Jason on 12/09/2009. Trim: 2009 Honda Odyssey Touring, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Engine is great for a vehicle this size. Love the interior size.
Cons: The electronics package. Would like to have had the touch screen functions and center console radio controls a bit more integrated. Would also have been nice if it had HD Radio (so it could receive the additional music info (artist title)). Also would be nice if it displayed full artist/title info from XM broadcast instead of cutting it off. It just felt like the electronics were an afterthought.
Overall review: A great overall package that is only lacking in it's electronics.
