Audi to avoid by bmwlover on 04/13/2010. Trim: 2009 Audi A3 2.0 T quattro DSG, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Nice design, appeal,, quick pick up,,
Cons: Terrible engine diagnose,, dealership refuse to repair,, still under warranty,, Transmission out of sync..
Overall review: If you like a new car with 1st 1000km without hassle, then buy it,, otherwise, this model 2009 has been complete headache and no co-operation from the Dealership

Smooth ride. by Audifox on 08/01/2009. Trim: 2009 Audi A3 3.2 DSG, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The 3.2l is really smooth it doesn't seem to labour as much as the 2.0T. The LED lights are awsome. Fit and finish is outstanding no other manufacturer comes close. Handles like a sports car. Quattro great to have have in wet and snowy weather super handling. Cockpit layout is very good easy access to all functions. Sure it costs $$$ but it is worth it.
Cons: Sunroof shades could block out more light somehow, it gets very hot in the summer if the car is not in the garage. Ipod hook up is a bit archaic and it doesn't show the songs on the stereo display unless you pay $ 2500 for the navigation package.
Overall review: So far it has been a great experience and I'm enjoying this vehicle. It is nice that you don't see many of them.

Smooth as gold.... by Audifox on 05/22/2009. Trim: 2009 Audi A3 3.2 DSG, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: It looks great, modern especially the LED lighting. Th V6 is so smooth compared to th 2.0T. Quattro all wheel drive is awsome. Interior space is roomy considering it's sporty image. Unique looks nothing really looks like this vehicle on the road.
Cons: The bose in my Q7 seemed better than the bose system in the A3 not sure if it is the same but it sure sounded better in the Q7 for some reason. I wish the V6 was slightly better on gas.
Overall review: Overall this has been a fantastic car, great alternative to BMW s and Mercs. No Japenese car comes close.

Audi A3 2.0T quattro S-line premium by Jeff from Ottawa on 02/11/2009. Trim: 2009 Audi A3 2.0 T quattro DSG, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Styling, powerful 4 cylinder turbo, good mileage, DSG, LEDs, solid feel, great turning circle, decent cargo room, powerful brakes, nice sounding stereo, quality interior materials, quality feel to controls, good passive and active safety systems (e.g. brakes dry themselves during rain, rain sensing wipers, bi-xenon headlamps etc.)
Cons: More what could be improved: flat folding rear seats, flat folding front passenger seat, paint that does not chip so easily, no available steel rims for winter tires, no 6-disc CD changer without spending big $$ for stereo upgrade, costly performance package that used to be part of S-line, no more bi-xenon headlamps that turn in the corners, and costly adjustable suspension.
Overall review: Overall great car. Will look at the Q5 to replace our domestic CUV. If you like the Golf GTI, take the A3 for a test drive. There are differences and you may prefer the A3 although a bit more pricey, you get good service from the dealership and you drive a premium car for not much more money.
