Caravan - Still the best mini-van! by AA from Hawaii on 03/26/2010. Trim: 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan SE, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Stow-N-Go is the best feature I have ever seen and should be standard on all types of mini-vans, as the purpose of a mini-van is to maximize carrying capacity. Chrysler invented the mini-van as a vehicle in between the size of a station wagon and a van, which could still fit in a garage. It has the flexibility to carry building materials, landscaping trees and supplies, furnature, families, and groceries. The electronics are fantastic, the outside shape and design are the best, and it is the perfect size to drive and feel comfortable in. It is solidly built and safe. It is functional and stylish, a great combination.
Cons: Sunburst Orange as an awesome color, but only a small limited number were made, and I have one of them! The unique color bring stares and many compliments. Why did this color get replaced with Peacock Green?
Overall review: The Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country, 99% identical, are by far the best mini-vans on the market, and the only mini-vans made by a U.S. company. The overall cost of ownership is the lowest of all mini-vans, based on price, insurance costs, maintenance costs, and the best gas mileage. If you want a reliable and sytlist mini-van, there is no need to shop anywhere else. Dodge/Chrysler has been the number one company for sale of mini-van for 25 years. Every car expert should rate these mini-vans are the best, as the competitons has never even been a close second. Soccer moms love this mini-van, it is the favorite for tourists and small businesses, and feels like a luxary car.

A Very Innovative, Underrated Van by Gavin from Hawaii on 09/06/2009. Trim: 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Innovative features galore! functionality and versatility above the rest, great value, impressive ride
Cons: Interior material quality is sub par, engine is underpowered/not very refined
Overall review: We've had this van for about 2 months now and so far we love it! We got a few extra features in it (rear dvd player, power doors and gate, mygig entertainment system) and overall the price still came out to less than the competitors. The interior is stylish and very functional. We also enjoy the little features here and there (Ex: the umbrella holder) and the pretty smooth ride. The only downside we've seen so far is that the handling is not so great with sharp turns, the materials could be better, and the engine could be more powerful. Other than these minor things we are very happy with our purchase!

Run, Run Fast, Run to a Nissan, Toyota, or Honda dealer. by Bob from the vegetable aisle on 07/18/2009. Trim: 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: It wasn't on fire
Cons: Horrible fit and finish. Everything shakes and shimmies if you so much as look at it. 6 Speed Automatic Transmission is a joke. Gears 2 and 3 seem to have the exact same ratio, and it takes an astonishing 3 shifts to hit 60. The "Manual" feature also seems to be silently mocking you as it will continue to display the gear you select even though it has obviously changed gears on its own. Using the brakes is like putting your foot in a bowl of oatmeal. It has this nifty green interior lighting, but no light under the hood, which was NOT helpful when checking out the strange noise in the dark.. More gaps in the bodywork than the Grand Canyon. Absolutely the worst vehicle I have ever driven.
Overall review: Nothing you need, everything you don't.

Very Impressed - Great Redesign! by Zack from Ontario, Canada on 06/15/2009. Trim: 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan SE, Owned 1 year.
Pros: We have owned numerous Caravans. Are last was a base Caravan SE which did us well. We upgraded to an 08 Grand Caravan SE Stow and Go and are enjoy the extra space, the stow and go seats and the power second row windows (great for the dogs!). The stow and go seats are excellent for us becuase we use the van for passenger and cargo use. We have already gone on 2 long road trips from Ontario, Canada to Florida and this van was great. I like the new more masculine exterior styling and the interior styling is nice as well. The mercedes-style keyless entry remote is very cool.
Cons: Overall it is excellent quality but i have noticed two squeeks on and off. The left sliding door occasionally makes a sound (like its not completely shut, but it is). Also, i noticed a high pitch squeaking sound coming from the right front today. Not sure what it is, i will have both looked at soon. The rear bucket seats are a little uncomfortable (stiff, not a lot of padding) but it is becuase they are stow and go (cant be too bulky). the stain replelant fabric is kind of rough. i regreat not getting rear ac, but thats our fault nothing to do with the vehicle.
Overall review: we are very impressed with the van. its a great one, and there are only a few concerns. our dealer is excellent as well (with the purchase and with maintenance). we got a very good deal on the van. if you need a comfortable vehicle with some genious features (stow and go for example), look at the grand caravan.
