| I BOUGHT THE CAR AFTER MY GRAND AM DIED.THE HONDA HAD 169,000 ON IT. BUT LOOKED NEW IN & OUT. I ALWAY DOUTED MY STEET RACER SON WITH A BUILT DESOL. THE LOOK OF THE CAR MAKE YOU A LITTLE CRAZY. PLEAPLE WONT TO RACE ALL THE TIME THE VETEK D16Z MOTOR RUNS UNBELEVIBLE. ( FAST ) CORNERS LIKE NO OTHER QUALITY IN & OUT. 30 MPH RACING A ROUND. 35 - 40 TRIPS. 25,000 MORE ON IT NOW ( HARD MILES / RUNS GREAT) BEST CAR OF THE 90'S . | Pros: |
| This car averages 34-38 miles to the gallon and can deliver over 40 mpg with a little 60 mph driving. I have put 20K on 1995 with 142K at purchase. The engine is bullet proof. The handling and acceleration are more than adequate. The car goes up hills in North Bergen, NJ like nothing. Just replace your timing belts when they are scheduled. I expect 300K out of mine at minimum. |

| New hondas don't seem to match the mpg's that the 95's produced. Attractive to thieves (I lock my brakes with an anti-theft device). I would rather not have the 60K timing belt service but a small price to pay for such reliablility. Book value is ridiculously high if you want to buy second hand but only a reflection of true value. |

| I brought my 1995 Honda Civic 4 door Sedan in 1995 with 2 miles off the dealers lot. I still drive it today. It was in an accident recently and the insurance put it as a totally lost and gave me the blue book value and I turned around and used that money to get it fix and back on the road and it is still running like I've just brought it off the lot. I would heard some little small sound but other than that it would disappeared and rides just smooth. I have had people come to me to by it. I have 141,349 miles on the car. I LOVE MY HONDA |

| I hate that I have out grown it, even though I am not a big person, but I wanted to get something a little bigger for my family and went out and brought a 2006 Honda Accord and still have the 1995 Civic and love them both. |

| I bought 4 years ago when it had 122K miles on it. Now it has more than 204K miles on it. Great gas mileage, good handling, looks good. Fun to drive. Still goes 80-90 miles per hour on highways. |

| It's a mid 90's Honda. The thing will not break. You can do your own maintenance, parts everywhere. Well designed and built (Mine is Canadian, but still very good). Resale value will hold forever, try to find one, I dare you! Fuel Economy, why can't car manufacturers not improve on what we knew in the 90's? It's a Honda. |

| I bought this car at an auction recently with 207k mi. on it. I didn't even see the car, I bid on it because it was going for very little money, when I got home I found out the right side was damaged from bumper 2 bumper. After a new (junker) door, some bodywork, a stereo, tint, lot's of cleaning and some time on the road, I got to say, this car is amazing. I redline every time I drive it, it's simply makes me grin, I crused at 110mph to San Diego, and all I did was get iridium plugs + wires, not even an oil change!!! Afte 3000 mi, this car is simply running better every day. Get 30+mpg driving like a maniac, runs smoother, stronger, even certain "noises" have subsided. My brother drove an 80's gen for a delivery company, and he always talks about how much he abused the car, but it would just turn over every morning to get more. One of the best cars ever built, check you automotive history, it's a marvel of automotive engineering. I will never sell it, ever, it'll be passed on. |
