Entry lighting shouls also be user adjustable Vs factory default.

So glad we bought it! by Driver21 on 12/04/2008. Trim: 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ 4WD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: It handles very well, its good on gas for the size of vehicle, it performs flawlessly, it has great options, and easy to use. I am a short person, and it is easy for me to get comfortable in. I can tow my show car trailer and it performs very well, better than expected, and holds my family of 5 very nicely. I have had other brand vehicles, and I have been more than happy with this vehicle for the first time in 3 vehicles from other makers.
Cons: My wife likes to drive it, so we fight over who gets to use it on a daily basis.
Overall review: I could not find a more perfect fit for my needs as this gives me, it has versatility of 3 vehicles, and is luxury as well.

An outstanding truck! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 07/13/2013. Trim: 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche LT2 4WD, Owned 4 years.
Pros: I've owned my '09 6.0 for almost 4 years. The ride comfort, especially on long trips is probably the biggest pro. The mid-gate is outstanding too. I have hauled a 14' step ladder with no troule. I've also hauled carpet rolls 12' long by simply removing the rear window and laying it on top of the cargo bay. You have the comfort of a great suspension ride and with the versatility of a work truck on the fly.
Cons: The only thing I dislike is the lack of dependability with the electronic shocks and they can get high in $$$ quick.
Overall review: Owning the Avy has been great. I love the versatility and its excellent in all environments.

Great ride by Fran on 06/09/2013. Trim: 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche LT1 2WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Versatility. It does every thing I need it to. I like that it can seat 5 comfortably but on the random occasion I need to haul stuff I can fold the back seats down.
Cons: The faux wood grain on the interior. It just seems cheap. I know the have the faux brushed aluminium but I bought a used one and I only went with the 1lt package.
Overall review: I recommend these to everyone I talk to about them.

Truck/Car of the year in my book by Wolly38 on 02/29/2012. Trim: 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ 4WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: style and versatility of uses as a pickup or cruising to a fine restaurant with friends. Traveling ride is awsome.
Cons: Braking isn't as good as I like, but I also drive to fast too.
Overall review: This is the second one I have owned and it is so much nicer that driving a pickup. The suspension is so much smoother riding, you can not tell the difference from my wife's Cadillac in ride. And on the hiway I get 17 to 20 miles a gallon driving normal speeds.
