No Equal for the Hardcore Performance Enthusiast by PaulD from Texas on 07/10/2009. Trim: 2009 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Like my son told me when I was vacillating between buying a Z06 or a Viper..."Dad, everybody has a Corvette. Nobody has a Viper." I bought the Viper. I live in an upscale area and there are still only two or three Vipers around here. I go weeks without seeing another Viper. It is just a cut above from a driving experience and ownership standpoint. It looks different, drives different, is more radical, more scarce, just plain cooler than anything else out there.
Cons: You have to tolerate a lot to own a Viper if you are used to having a "streetable" car. Vipers get hot. You can burn yourself on that side exhaust, on the shifter, on the metal pedals on the trim in the interior...on just about everything. In the Summer, a Viper is not the kind of car to take out on a formal date. Even with the A/C blasting, it is a sweat box. The car is noisy...and not just road and exhaust noise; you hear everything. The exhaust sound is kind of marginal when you consider the HP and 10 cylinders? If I really jump on my Viper in 2nd (let alone 1st gear) I can get dangerous wheel hop. It is better to "walk" the car out, and then jump on it.
Overall review: Once you've owned a Viper, what do you do? I am afraid I am going to have to get another one when I wear this one out!

The ultimate driver's car by Mike on 07/06/2009. Trim: 2009 Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: This is a true driver's car! Raw power, racecar feel and lines worthy of being in a museum. Not to mention all the attention it gets.
Cons: Seriously? The only problem I have is getting out of it...I NEVER WANT TO!!!
Overall review: A great all around car! Pure attention grabber as you go down the road. Fun to drive (who needs a fancy interior when you have 600hp and are wrapped up in a true driving experience). Easy to modify with aftermarket kits to give it a better sound and performance. A true American legend!!!

The Ultimate American Muscle. by Klamathpro on 05/22/2009. Trim: 2009 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: The best Exotic Muscle car money can buy.
Cons: It makes people jealous.
Overall review: Anyone who rates this car less than a 9 has never driven or owned a Viper. Any Viper from any year will exceed expectations when it comes to raw power. And the ACR is purely that fastest stock car on the track hands down. No supercharger needed in this thing.

The Best of Dodge's Line Up by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/22/2009. Trim: 2009 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: No shortage of raw American horse power, classic vehicle.
Cons: Handling could be better, it also lacks a lot of modern luxuries found in comparable vehicles.
Overall review: Not bad, if you can afford one why not

Viper, the name says it all by kennard on 05/22/2009. Trim: 2009 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: all out american performance. Killer good looks, unmistakeable shape instantly recognizable.
Cons: interior hot, a little cramped. Can get unruly in a hurry if you're not careful with the gas pedal, but isn't that what 600 hp is for ?
Overall review: you don't buy this car to drive like a Benz. It's the quintessential american hot rod. Exhaust note could be better. But $15,000 ? Get real, your Kia cost $15,000.
