This is the car for America's James Bond. by Steve from Tucson on 09/25/2008. Trim: 2009 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible LT3, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: We got the new cyber gray metallic paint. It makes the car look rich and more subtle. The ride is world class. If you really want a convertible, get this model. The "Targa" roof on the coupe is too much work and not the same. The dual mode exhaust adds to the fun when you want to make heads turn. Our car also has the select ride option, not for the ride but for the better brakes. Unless you plan to race this is the best way to get the brakes for street use. The Z sport suspension option also gets you the better brakes but then you have to live with the firmer suspension all of the time.
Cons: You can always use more trunk space.
Overall review: This is clearly the most fun ride in my life. Before you buy anything more exotic you owe it to yourself to try the Corvette.

Ultra High Performance ... Ultra Low Price! by SB in NC on 03/09/2010. Trim: 2009 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 LZ3, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I bought this car as a weekend warrior for track days (VIR) and autocross. It has exceeded my wildest expectations. The performance is mind-blowing. It sticks to the track like glue with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires. It is a "driver's" car in that it responds to the skill of the driver and takes a skilled driver to drive at its limits. On trips it gives almost 30mpg. Love the 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty. Chevy obviously has lots of confidence in the design knowing that it will be driven to its limits! The leather 3lz interior is worth the extra cash. It gives it that extra touch of class. Aluminum, magnesium, titanium, carbon fiber, and massive torque, what's not to love?
Cons: It attracts too much attention. I can park in the far corner of a parking lot and sure enough someone will park next to it. It accumulates loads of fingerprints from those peering in through the windows. I spend way too much time washing and waxing it. The only problem I have had is in predicting where the front splitter is when parking. I have finally figured it out but have had to shell out $200 for a new splitter in the process.
Overall review: If you look at 0-60, 0-100, 60-0, 80-0, 1/4mile, top end, laterial acceleration, slalom, and track performance there are but a few foreign cars under $300,000.00 that come close to the performance of this car. Of those, only the $200K Porsche GT2 and the $83K Nissan GTR compare in overall performance. The Z06 is definitely the "Bang-for-the-bucks" leader in its price range.

Road Rocket by caddy875 on 01/27/2010. Trim: 2009 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible LT3, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Great stying and acceleration. A true rocket for the road and with the F55 suspension it handles great and rides smooth.
Cons: The seats could have more lateral support. The Navigation could be more user friendly as well.
Overall review: These cars are amazing. Hard to believe you can get this much performance and engineering for this price. What a car.
