Hard to Beat by Bigwig on 08/07/2009. Trim: 2009 Volkswagen GTI 2.0T Sedan, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Love It! If given a second chance, i would buy it again, and again, and again... Rare to find this combination of utility, refinement and fun for under $30,000. Really a 10 Best!!
Cons: Inside is not as nice as the 2010... The new red stitching on the wheel is hot!
Overall review: Don't give it a second thought, go buy one; you'll love it!

Best practical Sports Car, Bar None, Game Over by Upstate NY Will on 09/03/2009. Trim: 2009 Volkswagen GTI 2.0T Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great balance, the way it feels is awesome. The quick shifting, power and tightness of the steering make for an amazing ride. Thsi car is greast for people who truly enjoy driving. Amazing space inside. This has more interior legroom for all passengers and the driver, and better seats than my Subaru Outback!
Cons: Styling is a bit funky and edgy, but it is definitely different and cooler than your Japanees lunch boxes.
Overall review: Without compare, the tightest, best, most fun to drive practical sports car on the market. Period, game over. If you want one car that is both practical and a true sports car, you have only one real choice, the GTI.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Pocket Rocket by Steve, New Lenox IL on 08/08/2009. Trim: 2009 Volkswagen GTI 2.0T Sedan, Owned 1 year.
Pros: It's been a long time since I owned a car that makes me smile so much. Just driving it puts me in a good mood. It'll haul my canoe and camping gear, get me to work, or play on the country roads and do each well. MPG: high 20s in town, low 30s on the highway. (Listening to that little guy on my shoulder who keeps saying, "Faster! Faster!" does make those numbers drop.) At 11000 miles no troubles whatsoever and the first 3 oil changes are free! Last winter we saw -23 here and with the synthetic oil it started right up. Can you tell I love this car?
Cons: Some older interstate highways develop a washboard surface that the car really doesn't handle well, giving a rocking horse ride that would be hard to endure for long. Fortunately those stretches have been few and short.
Overall review: It looks good, has outstanding performance, sips gas: all for $mid-20s.

Volkswagen GTI, do it again! by auSTin on 05/23/2009. Trim: 2009 Volkswagen GTI 2.0T Coupe, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The most bang for the buck. Pure German engineering at its best. Volkswagen didn't play around with this car. Sometimes my palms get sweaty when driving...from extreme excitement.
Cons: I dislike the fact of reaching my destination. But, then again, there is always the return trip home!
Overall review: Volkswagen GTI...a lifetime spent in this car would never be long enough.

GTI Mania by TurboPa Helena, MT on 12/03/2013. Trim: 2009 Volkswagen GTI 2.0T Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: My fast GTI handles well, is quiet, lots of leg room, great milage and I would buy it again. The car handles well in ALL weather conditions.
Cons: Wished I had two.
Overall review: Get one for yourself and put a smile on your face.
