Grand Touring Tradition by WoodyR on 07/16/2008. Trim: 1997 Bentley Brooklands, Owned 3 years.
Pros: If it looks like leather, it is. If it looks like wood, it is. If it looks like wool, it is. Brutally honest and supremely comfortable. Acres of burr walnut, picnic tables, plenty of legroom in the LWB version. Fantastic A/C. Torque for days! Ultimate quality.
Cons: Only getting 13 MPG in town and 18 on the road @ 80 MPH. People think it's a Rolls-Royce. Service cost is high, as one would expect for such fabulous engineering.
Overall review: This is the first year of turbocharging on the Brooklands model. Can there be too much power? Maybe....well, no! This one marched through the America's British Reliability Run behind a turbo MGB roadster, turn for turn through 5 states & mountain roads! Took a week to get the smile off my face! Put 3030 miles in 6 days on this sweetheart. This car will never wear out. Quality is always stylish.

Nothing Can Compare To A Bentley! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/07/2004. Trim: 1997 Bentley Brooklands, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: There is nothing ordinary about this car. You can't compare this to a Mercedes or BMW or Jaguar, of which I have owned all 3. The Bentley is in a level all by itself. The quality and level of refinement is second to none. There is no plastic in the car. It is bank solid with no squeaks or rattles. First of all it will turn heads everywhere you go. Just driving to the grocery store is a "celebrity experience". Everybody wants to see who is in the car. (So you better look good yourself - at least the top half. :) The car has so much torque and with the light turbo is actually quite quick from a standing start or in passing mode. It is a sincere pleasure to drive and own.
Cons: The stock stereo is so-so, but being a 1997, audio has come a long ways, and a new sound system is on it's way.
Overall review: Top notch.

Quite nice really by Person with a great car! on 08/19/2001. Trim: 1997 Bentley Brooklands, Owned 4 years.
Pros: This vechicle is the most wonderful car ever! I love the styling and everything about this car.
Cons: The price is too high, but is still worth the money.
Overall review: If you are one which has lots of cash go for it, otherwise it is too expensive to take care of.
