Pros: Love the cockpit. Saab stays true to its aerospace heritage. You will discover many hidden features that are smart, safe and convenient. This car has much to offer, but the focus remains on great driving dynamics, excellent fuel economy, active and passive safety and style.
Cons: The middle arm rest slides, I wish I could lock it.
Overall review: Overall the car stands out from the crowd. This car can run with BMW's Audi's and the like. Only it has more finesse and refinement. You will feel good driving a saab, it is a sound car.

Sport-Tourer by drtom on 10/08/2013. Trim: 2009 Saab 9-5 Aero, Owned 3 years.
Useful?
Pros: I have the 09 Saab 9-5 Aero. This is the best highway car I have ever owned by far, but around town it can feel a bit unrefined. It has more options than a comparable MB or BMW, but is missing surprising things like Bluetooth and a USB port. I love the size of the windows and the great visibility, the driver position and ergonomics are great. The trunk is huge and the rear seats fold down in the 60/40 split. On the highway, this car likes to travel at 80-90 mph. Passing from 70-80 mph is amazing.
Cons: Front ground-works get caught on parking stones (those concrete ones) and can get damaged. Must have a Saab specialty mechanic for repairs. Car feels heavy at parking lot speeds.
Overall review: This car really sums up the "Sport-Touring" title. It's not a sports car, and it's not a high end luxury car. It is a great blend for someone who does a lot of longer drives.
