Useful?

Pros: Powerful Northstar V8 makes this a fun vehicle to drive. The AWD makes miserable weather easy to drive in.

Cons: Fuel economy is highly dependant on your right foot. 21Hwy, and a realistic 15 in town, 12 if you have a lead foot...

Overall review: I love the first generation SRX for its true utility. I tow with it on occasion, and it is a pleasure to drive, everyday.

The Sleeper SUV by An MSN Autos Consumer on 06/21/2009. Trim: 2009 Cadillac SRX V6, Owned less than 1 year.

Useful?

Pros: This SUV is a sleeper. Excellent back seat leg and headroom. Plenty of cargo room with the second seat down or up. The second seat folds flat with the headrests in place. Well optioned and great Bose stereo. All wheel drive works well. The large sunroof is unbelievable. I have been pleasantly surprised by the power of the V6 engine. The transmission has a power manual shift mode. Cadillac is coming out with a new SRX that has less interior room. They did not advertise this automobile very well. We drove up into the mountains the first weekend and it handled very well.

Cons: No dislikes at this time.

Overall review: The paint and interior fit and finish are well above average. In fact, in 2007, the SRX won best interior awards. The sports otion really gives a well optioned SUV. The turning radius is short. dealer can find remaining 2009 SRX's around the country if the exact model is not in stock.
