Almost Perfect by Dan from New York on 07/14/2010. Trim: 2009 GMC Yukon Hybrid 4WD, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Whats not to like. Its a full size Yukon that if driven correctly can yeild twice the gas milage of a regular Yukon. I average a solid 18mpg average at 20k a year. On the open road I have averaged 25mpg at 75mph. I've also gotten almost 28mpg at 55mph. I love my Yukon it has all the power and stiling you could ask for.
Cons: No power tail gate! not paying for a cadillac to get one!No roof rack but everything fits inside a Yukon. Not spare tire, With good tires not a big concern. Can't use the satalite phone to get wi-fi for my laptop.
Overall review: Great vehicale needs some tweeks to get it into the 21 century. Tech is from the late 1980's, 17 years in development and no new tech. Can't wait for the Hydrogen verson to come out in 2050.

Full-sized capabilities with improved mileage by HavasuBound from Rancho Santa Magarita, CA on 11/03/2009. Trim: 2009 GMC Yukon Hybrid 4WD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Smooth and powerful, with great towing capacity for a hybird vehicle. Really, really pleased with the hybrid transmission. Outstanding base features, with navigation included. Mileage is significantly better than non-hybrid models. Extremely quiet ride with plenty of space for eight passengers. Overall quality greatly improved from previous GMC models (compared with 2002 GMC truck model). Good quality sound and entertainment system. Navigation system works well and is easy to use.
Cons: Mileage isn't quite as good as advertised. As others have noted, no memory function or power recline for front seats and no power liftgate for the rear. Rear cargo door is diifficult to close properly. Some minor wind noise at freeway speeds. Brakes are a bit touchy and take some getting used to, especially at slow speeds. Legroom for the third-row seats is limited due to the hydrid battery placement under the second-row seating. Vehicle is a bit pricey, in general.
Overall review: If you need a vehicle that will seat up to eight passengers or tow up to 6,000 pounds, there are number of good choices out there. However, if you are also looking for a vehicle that will consistently deliver 17-18 mpg around town, under normal driving conditions, then you are left with the choice of a diesel or the Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade Hybrid. The Yukon Hybrid is extremely well appointed. Basically, there are two optional features -- a sunroof and a rear entertainment system. The rear entertainment system has proven a great option for the kids already. The hybrid system works seamlessly and the transmission is extremely smooth and it's nearly impossible to identify shift points. At slow speeds, the vehicle will operate entirely under battery power; however, you have to be very easy on the gas pedal. The gasoline engine is very powerful, notably improved from our 2002 Yukon Denali. Overall, a well-built, functional vehicle.

A Hybrid with Power by Mustang Man from Lubbock on 09/20/2009. Trim: 2009 GMC Yukon Hybrid 4WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The fuel efficiency of a four cylinder with the power of a V8 when you need it. Extremely comfortable and luxurious interior. Exterior that is eye catching. Seats eight (8) easily and comfortably. On Star Navigation system. Bose Sterio. DVD player for the children.
Cons: Back hatch is not power - can be added after market or found on Escalade Hybrid if you want to pay the difference for it being a Cadillac.
Overall review: Overall this is a great SUV. It has a great appearance
