A great ride by Winston from Alberta , Canada on 07/21/2009. Trim: 2009 Buick Enclave CXL AWD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The vehicle is very smooth and extremely quiet. As with most recent SUVs, rear visibility is hampered some but nothing one doesn't very quickly get used to. Both interior and exterior styling are exceptional. Creature features abound, like back up camera and radar proximity warnings. A great drive.
Cons: I guess I have to find something to fill this space. So I will again mention the rear visibility, which as i said I got used to very quickly.
Overall review: This is my first Buick. This is exactly what I was looking for in terms of interior usable space, power, good looks and reasonable fuel economy. I have to be honest I looked only at domestic vehicles. Toyota, Honda and the like were out. I think north american vehicles have in the past gotten a deserved bad rap. But they would be hard to rap today. Unless you are a motoring magazine editor who can hardly see past Japanese vehicles.

An American Gem by Steve from Pennsylvania on 04/21/2009. Trim: 2009 Buick Enclave CX FWD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Extremely solid. Rides incredibly smooth. 30 years of buying Japanese autos is out the window. This is an incredible vehicle.
Overall review: I couldn't provide a stronger recommendation. Twice as good as my Nissan Murano and Lexus.

GM's answer to the imports by Rick from snowy Rochester on 02/24/2009. Trim: 2009 Buick Enclave CXL AWD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great ergonomics and driver position. Attractive. Extremely confident in snow and ice. Very quite. 3-zone climate control really works. Acceleration is brisk for a large SUV. Fit and finish are on par with luxury imports. Filled with useful "creature features". Stops very well for size and weight. Tracks laser-straight. Access to 3rd row seats is very good. Audio/DVD system is amongst the best I've heard/seen from GM. Head lamps are terrific. Cruise control is the best I've used (speed is shown in the dash info center). A very complete player it the large cross-over segment. Although it can get pricy with options it's a "bargain" when compared feature to feature with the other competition.
Cons: Styling may not be for everyone. Sideview mirrors sit very high on the doors and might hinder your view. A bit thirsty (I'm told milage improves as motor breaks in...time will tell)! There should be more second row foot room when front seats are back fully. Limited vision thru the back window (rear camera and warning system are a must). Rain-sensing wipers should be standard. Ride is "buick soft" (this could be a pro or con based on personal preference). Sunroof screens don't look like they'll last too long (again, time will tell).
Overall review: The 2009 Enclave should be on your short-list for large cross-overs. It does most everything very well.
