Awesome Car! by Dave in Ohio on 06/15/2013. Trim: 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid 4-Door Sedan, Owned 4 years.
Pros: Purchased this car new on 2009. Excellent quality, fit and finish. No problems with mechanicals or electrical systems. Hybrid battery system is good and has never been a problem. Maintenance costs are well below average in my opinion. Fuel economy is very good. Best is 45 mpg and average tank mpg is 34 to 37 mpg for combined city hwy driving. Best number was for one trip and resulted form concentrated effort to achieve results. Average tank results are achieved daily with no unusual effort.
Cons: No dislikes. One issue to mention is that the Hybrid battery (in the truck) takes up a fair amount of space. You can get two or maybe three golf bags in the trunk. Luggage for two is not a problem if you don't take too much. If you can't restrict yourself you will need to use the backseat for something. My only issue was when car was new. Drivers seat made my tailbone sore. Not sure why. Issue went away when tailbone got used to seat or seat was broken in after about three months. Not sure which. Other than that no issues to mention.
Overall review: Great car. Toyota did a nice job. The Hybrid battery make the car gross weight about 3500 lbs. and this is heavier that a normal car of this size. The added weight makes the car ride really well. Normally mid sized or small cars suffer with ride control and road noise. The Camry Hybrid rides like a full sized car. I have just over 108,000 miles on this car and just put a new set of tires on it. The ride with the new tires is amazingly quiet. Just had car to dealer for 110 k check up and all good. Still have original brake pads and rotors all around as we'll as struts and cv joints. Oil changes are done when car tells me to which is usually about 5000 miles. The transmission takes some getting used to since these do not shift gears. The other thing that you need to adjust to is when stopped at a light or in a traffic jam the motor shuts off and the car goes silent. Great feature for fuel savings but is really noticeable when you first drive the car.

Pros: Great gas mileage. 34 in town 41 on highwy. Have all options. Heated seats great in cold weather
Cons: 1) mirrors DO NOT fold 2) OEM touring tires are worthless in snow
Overall review: As gas prices rise, the value of the hybrid rises. Rides very smoothlly and very quietly

Ultimate Camry Hybrid by Debby from CT on 09/14/2008. Trim: 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid 4-Door Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I have owned many cars from Camry to Lincolns. I love this car. It is the best car I have ever owned. The ride is comfortable and the pick up is trememdous compared to by 2003 Camry. I recently got 40 mpg average on a trip from CT to FL. I am very impressed.
Cons: Nothing so far
Overall review: If you are deciding between the Hybrid and a loaded 6 cylinder Camry, the price is minimal and you can get all the options.
