Jaguar xf Supercharged by Sarasota, fl on 04/09/2012. Trim: 2009 Jaguar Supercharged, Owned 3 years.
Pros: The Supercharged XF is one of the best performing vehicles that I have owned thus far.
Cons: Limited Back seating
Overall review: While I have owned other luxury cars, this is by far one of the most enjoyable in reference to performance. My only regret is that I did not purchase the "XFR".

AWESOME RIDE by An MSN Autos Consumer on 04/05/2011. Trim: 2009 Jaguar Luxury, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The performance, comfort and economy. I was surprised at the MPG I'm averaging 18 City with about 24 highway. Costs me less to fill the Jag than it costs my wife to fill her 2011 Lincoln MKZ.
Cons: Jaguar is into performance not common sense. I can't believe that sirius/xm radio is not available except as an option. They need to be more with it in terms of technology.
Overall review: Great car overall. The car is classic. I looked at the 5 series BMW and dollar for dollar this is a far better deal.

No Xcuses for the XF by Realbrit on 09/13/2008. Trim: 2009 Jaguar Premium Luxury, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The XF handles like a sports car -- far more responsive than my XK convertible -- in all aspects and has a great driving position. Although similar in styling to a Lexus, it is a topic of conversation or appreciative looks wherever I go. The interior finish is as good as the A6 I owned and the controls are very intuitive. I have driven just over 5000 miles and have no complaints; it is a very smooth and quiet ride. Gas consumption is reasonable, averages 22 mpg, achieving 25+ on long thruway trips averaging over 65 mph. Even my wife, who doesn't usually appreciate my cars (Alfa Romeo Guiletta, Lancia Flavia sedan, Rover 820, Thunderbird Tubo Coupe, Mustang GT convertible, A6 2.7T) loves it!
Cons: The most annoying feature is the garage door opener built into the rear view mirror -- about half the time I use it, I have to reset the mirror position. So far untested in upstate NY winter! I suspect I may have to invest in snow tyres.
Overall review: The XF is truely competitive with other premium brands but is much rarer and more distinctive. Anyone considering an A6, E-class, 5-Series or Lexus should road test the XF before making their decision.

A Legend in its Own Time! by Pete from NYC on 04/30/2009. Trim: 2009 Jaguar Supercharged, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: 1)Performance and handling are unparalled in its class. Lexus LS, BMW 7 series, Mercedes E/S all tested and fell short. This car's performance is a contender for supercars from makers like Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari. 2)Driving is fun and as interactive as you want it. Let the car do all the work or put it in full manual mode without restrictions on RPMs for a real challenge. 3)The design is bold and beautiful, from the available custom power vents and 20 inch wheels to the hand stitched leather and tasteful wood trim on the inside. 4)Interior is high-tech - integrated audio, phone, navigation, climate although a bit complicated to get through the menu system. Still worth it!
Cons: 1)The coupe-like styling really limits room in the back seat. If you are purposefully looking for a 4 door sedan expect the rear passengers to feel a bit tight inside unless you roll the front seats all the way up against the dash! 2)Also, expect some early computer-related glitches, more annoying than anything else. 3)Could have included a more advanced navigation system 4)Finally, not necessarily a problem with this car, but if you get the high performance tires and do alot of city driving, you'll see it doesn't take much roughness to the road to destroy the tires (Hint: buy the tire insurance that is offered by the dealer!)
Overall review: This car is truly a wonder from a company with a long and prestigous racing/performance history. Finally after a dry spot, Jaguar has really outdone itself this time! Despite the minor glitches, slightly complex electronics and delicate tires on the more high-end trim, this is a beautiful machine that is an absolute pleasure to get behind the wheel of, and will even excite the most picky of drivers. There is something for everyone - full manual mode, and even an almost completely 'automatic' mode which will follow the car in front of you at speeds as slow as 15 mph! Never have I had a vehicle turn so many heads at the gas station or a traffic light. Never have I had a vehicle spark so many conversations about it! Though not quite as exotic as its concept counterpart, its design outshines Benz, BMW, Lexus... easily! Don't miss out on this machine! You'll be sorry if you do :)
