The One with the 'X' factor by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/01/2008. Trim: 2008 BMW 135i Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Amazing and delightful engine.
Cons: Space constraint at rear
Overall review: A winner in his own class. No comparison and competition in the market. Fun to drive and never fail to impress. Put smile on my face everytime.

The 1 is number one. by Happy in the North on 06/25/2008. Trim: 2008 BMW 135i Convertible, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Enormous power and low end grunt from the 300 lb/ft of torque. Handles like its on rails. Smaller and lighter than the 3 series so it doesn't feel as porky. Convertible is easy to lower and raise. Wind noise is minimal and non-existent with the wind deflector.
Cons: Lack of a spare tire. Other than that, nothing.
Overall review: An excellent driving machine that has enormous power and tight handling. Reverses the trend of models getting bigger and bigger.

Numero Uno - with Caveat! by Robski on 02/24/2013. Trim: 2008 BMW 135i Coupe, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Stupid-fast with hi horsepower to weight ratio! Awesomely nimble with the motorsport package. The seats take you in and love on you - seat heater is lava hot. Heater kicks in fast too.
Cons: Still looking for the back end of the car. Some lag in the turbo. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is very querky. Steering wheel peeled - replaced under warranty. The anti-skid mechanism failed right after warranty expired - switch replaced - $700 - YGBSM!
Overall review: Mine is the Motorsport version. It's the funnest car I have ever driven - highway or street! 53K miles - still holding up well, with exception of anti-skid switch. Worried about long term reliability and cost of maintenance.

Mid life car by Mike on 10/14/2012. Trim: 2008 BMW 128i Convertible, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Nice highway car but not for the city streets
Cons: Took car to local dealer for passenger airbag light staying on when someone is in the seat. They said the battery had a low charge whe driven daily. Problem came up again repeatedly. Still under warranty but when the warranty changed to the next phase for the same thing. They wanted me to pay for the next step in the trouble shooting tree. Owned car for 22 months convertable top back glass started seperating from the material just when the warranty was over.My extended warranty would not cover replacing top but insurance willing to do so. I did'nt do that. Beware of runflat tires if you run over a nail which I'm sure we all have, the tire cannot be repaired.
Overall review: Nice sports car but not for long term ownership. Poor quaitly paint and wheels tarnish very easy.
