Suzuki Grand Vitara Best buy for your money

Pros:
excellent build quality, after one and a half years and 35000miles not one single problem. great price, the only SUV with real Off Road capability, check out the off road mags, great price
Cons:
gas/milage is only average, we get about 19miles/gallon
Overall review:
great car, great price, who cares about the resale value if you buy a brand new car for just 21000 including all taxes. best car buy ever

easy to reach buttons.
Cons:
could use more leg romm for the rear passengers.
Overall review:
love it no problems i own a 2008 and with less than 30k miles on it all it needed was oil changes and new tires.

Great Suzukis SUV

Pros:
I like this car for its size and price. It handles really well when driving on snow. It has really good visibility compared to other cars I tested like the nissan rogue had bad rear visibility. The warranty that came with it is great 3 years bumper to bumper and 7 years power-train. Not just a city SUV like the CR-V or the RAV-4, this GV handles great off-road thanks to its steel frame and 4WD.
Cons:
Although I feel the car is light to drive I like cars with bigger engines and more horse power, but I saw the 2009 model that has a lot more horse power and better fuel economy than the 2008. Thats the only con I see for an engine that size I would expect better gas mileage.
Overall review:
Overall it has been a great car I get 19-20 miles per gallon on 80 percent road driving, its not bad at all. As soon as I can I'm going to test drive a Suzuki 2009 and may be upgrade to better fuel economy and more horsepower. But it has good acceleration its just my personal preference to have cars with bigger engines and better performance. I recommend this car to anybody.

Do not buy from Great Western Suzuki

Pros:
4-wheel drive system & anti-lock brakes are outstanding; automatic climate control works very well; performs great in snow (even deep stuff) and mud; radio and other controls are convenient and work well; sound system is good;
Cons:
Poor MPG; very uncomfortable ride for those in the rear seats (much worse than front); stock tires (Yokohama) are terrible; noisy ride; sheet metal very thin/cheap (dents & rusts with ease); poor seals allow ALOT of dust to enter passenger compartment; several blind spots; terrible customer service from dealer and Suzuki; light pattern of headlights is annoying; transmission shifts too often when using cruise control; over priced
Overall review:
Overall, this vehicle is okay at best. The gas mileage is 3 - 4 gallons per less than the sticker; very disappointed with MPG! For an SUV this size, 25mpg would be good.....I cannot get better than 20 (avg). The issue with the dust has me HOT. Nobody from Suzuki nor the dealer could (would?) help. My '93 Toyota with 200k miles has less dust. The dealer provided such terrible service, it's difficult to seperate the car from the dealer experience. Rotten customer service from salesman and sales manager.

Excellent Value

Pros:
Bought after comparing with Ford Escape and Honda CRV. Neither Ford or Honda would deal on price. Grand Vitara had all the amenities that we wanted as standard and negotiated price without delay. Excellent buying experience. My second Suzuki....but not my last. Excellent warranty.
Cons:
Ride is stiff and bumpy, but not uncomfortable. Small trade off considering what it offers.
Overall review:
Definitely a great value for the money. Can't get the wife out of it. Her dream car was a Toyota Camry which gave us nothing but problems. Most fun vehicle she has ever had.
