Suzuki Grand Vitara Best buy for your money by Judith New Jersey on 03/01/2010. Trim: 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara Luxury 4WD, Owned 2 years.
Pros: excellent build quality, after one and a half years and 35000miles not one single problem. great price, the only SUV with real Off Road capability, check out the off road mags, great price
Cons: gas/milage is only average, we get about 19miles/gallon
Overall review: great car, great price, who cares about the resale value if you buy a brand new car for just 21000 including all taxes. best car buy ever

Excellent Value by B. J. in Texas on 12/09/2008. Trim: 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara Base 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Bought after comparing with Ford Escape and Honda CRV. Neither Ford or Honda would deal on price. Grand Vitara had all the amenities that we wanted as standard and negotiated price without delay. Excellent buying experience. My second Suzuki....but not my last. Excellent warranty.
Cons: Ride is stiff and bumpy, but not uncomfortable. Small trade off considering what it offers.
Overall review: Definitely a great value for the money. Can't get the wife out of it. Her dream car was a Toyota Camry which gave us nothing but problems. Most fun vehicle she has ever had.

Value Cannot be beat! by Chuck~~Belton, Texas on 08/09/2008. Trim: 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara Base 2WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The room and comfort afforded the passengers is excellent and far exceedes the price of the vehicle. For the size the gas milage is very good.
Cons: Fold down back seats are not low enough, mechanical seat position, and it seems the tires that came on the car are not going to exceed much over 15,000 miles. This is common on Suzuki. Small price to pay for the Pros.
Overall review: I shopped all dealers and cars, and was willing to pay much more for comfort and styling but could not pass up what I appraised as an excellent value and warranty package. I do not think I sacraficed one item I wanted. I found what I was looking for and drove away with a lot of money still in the bank that I was willing to spend. The heated seats make up for the easy mechanical adjustments, and the less durable tires or less expense to replace than a much higher priced auto.

Dependable small SUV by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/11/2014. Trim: 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara XSport 4WD, Owned 6 years.
Pros: Very durable; plenty of features; good value. 160,000 miles....gas, oil changes, tires and normal maintenance.
Cons: MPG....lucky to average 21. Check engine light (some kind of filter in the fuel tank) disables cruise control. Allows too much dust to enter passenger compartment.
Overall review: If you need a reliable vehicle with nice features and can afford low MPG, this is a great choice.
