Best Jeep Wrangler ever by Everett Jeep Jeep on 10/15/2009. Trim: 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4X4, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Love the all-weather capability. Have run it through deep snow, icy conditions, mud and muck and through streams. It just cannot be stopped!
Cons: Some rattling when you hit bumps throughout the cabin. Engine is pretty weak. Miles per gallon is pretty weak. This rig should have about 230 hp and another 20 ft. lbs of torque minimum for more get up and go.
Overall review: Love my Wrangler. The 4 door is a great hauler, and handles pretty well. I get a lot of compliments and questions on how I like it.

Great Jeep Wrangler by Scott from New Jersey on 03/14/2008. Trim: 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: It's a JEEP! Great exterior and interior looks. Best off-road capability in the world! Freedom Top! Not a bad ride!
Cons: Many people have a problem with the Gas mileage, but what do you expect from a SUV!?! Engine is good off the line, but still lacks that punch on the highways. I would like to see Dodge's 4.0L V6 260hp that is curently in the Nitro, be an option in the Wrangler!
Overall review: I have always wanted a Jeep Wrangler, ever since I was 5! I was very lucky to get it as my first car! My family has always owned Jeep's, but never a Wrangler. I have already been to some off-road courses and it was great. There is no other SUV in the world that can do better off road than the Jeep Wrangler! Being that it's a convertable just makes it that much better! I love putting the top down on nice days, and it is fairly easy to take off and put back on. The Wrangler is also pretty comfortable! The 6-speed is great off-road and on road! It helps you a little more when you're trying to pass on the highway! This is a great SUV and I'm very luck to have it as my first car! I wouldn't trade it for anything else!

Jeep is still Alive! by Vincent (Bay Area, CA) on 09/28/2011. Trim: 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4X4, Owned 2 years.
Useful?
Pros: My favorite part of this whole car is the Navigation and the SOUND SYSTEM, its just awesome and the fact that it is a MP3 player is awesome. Offroading is uncomparable, look is unique, really easy to park. Dashboard with all the specs is awesome too.
Cons: the HORN AHHH it is so hard to press, got in a little car crash (Little) because the horn was so hard to honk. Also the gas mileage is not pleasing, but its a Jeep, you gotta sacrifice something for the Jeep experience. And the power is not all there when you want it. Also when you accelerate its either all...or nothing... there is no gentle acceleration.
Overall review: Looks like I have a bunch more cons, but the fact is it is a really great car. The only thing that makes me have second guesses about keeping it is the fact that I get 17mpg on the highway and luck to get 13.5mpg city driving. But I think I would cry if I had to give up my soundsystem, so spoiled, never heard anything so good, and that you can upload music from CDs or from a USB Flashdrive is awesome. And the fact that the top comes off is just awesome.

45,000 Miles & Going STRONG! by David42 from Sarasota, Florida on 07/01/2010. Trim: 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X 4X2, Owned 3 years.
Useful?
Pros: Driving is FUN! Looks rugged and handles as well as any SUV I have driven. Smooth transmission... can't even tell it's changing gears (I have automatic tranny). A/C is ice cold (I live in Florida). Soft top comes off easily but I most often just remove the half doors (ordered it that way) and leave the top up so I don't get fried in the Florida sun. Did I mention that it's fun to drive? I have driven it on 5 hour trips and it's fine. Have had it 2 1/2 years, put over 45,000 miles on it so far and it's still running strong with zero problems. Resale value on Wranglers is great too. Bought my used 2000 Sahara for $15,000 and got $13,500 on TRADE IN after having it for 3 years, 50,000 miles!
Cons: Gas mileage is only 16.5 average for me, although, I have 33 inch aggressive tread tires on my Jeep. Limited color selection for the interior is another down side. Amazes me that Jeep doesn't offer more interior color options for such a fun vehicle. No other downsides than that!
Overall review: This is my second Jeep Wrangler (first was a 2000 Sahara) and I can honestly say I will always own a Jeep Wrangler as long as they keep producing them and at this quality (or better). Jeeps aren't for everyone though. If you are looking for a quiet, BMW type ride, keep looking. If you want a rugged, tough looking, great riding vehicle, then a Jeep may be for you. I have been driving this Jeep for 2 1/2 years now and absolutely love it.
