Great Value for the $ by Sid from Baltimore on 12/24/2012. Trim: 2008 Volvo S80 T6, Owned 4 years.
Pros: The car is great in the snow, it handles well, the braking is solid and best of all i've never experienced any mechancial problems. Its a very reliable car.
Cons: The interior cabin could be more stylish.
Overall review: I drive an 2008 S80 T6 AWD and its one of the best performance cars i've ever driven. I have approximately 90,000 miles and have never experienced any mechanical problems. THe car is extremely well built and still drives and feels the same as when i purchased it.

Solid car but an overall disappointment by Dave M - Cincinnati on 08/02/2008. Trim: 2008 Volvo S80 3.2, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Overall styling is quite attractive. Front seats are quite good. Audio is so-so. Car is built like a tank; extremely solid.
Cons: Extremely rough ride; especially for a car in this class. Back seat room is extremely cramped. Steering column adjustment is horrendous. After one month of owning this car, I'm extremely disappointed.
Overall review: Disappointing; really wishing that I'd gone with a Lexus or Caddy instead.

A Decent Ride by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/27/2011. Trim: 2008 Volvo S80 3.2, Owned 1 year.
Pros: This car is solidly built and handles well with typical front wheel drive understeer. Driving position is excellent and controls are simple to operate. Excellent stereo in the front, not so much in the rear because the rear speakers are on the doors. There are storage areas in the doors, in the armrest, and behind the center console, but the glove box is small and items fall out when it is opened.
Cons: As mentioned, the car handles well, but the upshift points are delayed, thus making the car hold lower gears too long. This certainly reduces fuel mileage, which should be better than it is. Rear seat leg room is cramped. The exterior design looks modern and aerodynamic, but as with many newer cars, exterior visibility is significantly reduced and blind spots abound. Low profile tires aid performance, but transmit all road imperfections to passengers. Road noise is higher than expected for a luxury model.
Overall review: Overall, the Volvo S80 is a decent car. Thus far I haven't experienced any mechanical failures or noticed any evidence of sloppy assembly. As the top of the line sedan, however, it does not measure up to some of the more "established" luxury marques.

Best family sedan by El Rey, Cleveland Ohio on 07/10/2011. Trim: 2008 Volvo S80 T6, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Excellent ride and handling. I have the T6 AWD which has a very quick, responsive and smooth acceleration. Very comfortable to ride in for long distance travel. Very solid feel and the AWD sticks to the road in rain or snow conditions. Loaded with all kinds of safety features.
Cons: Gas mileage is a little disappointing at 22-23 combined mpg. Needed rear brakes at 40K miles not covered by warranty. Volvo should have made blue-tooth phone prep a standard given they are all about safety! Rear leg room could be roomier.
Overall review: I may have pointed out more cons but they are minor; there is really no disappointment with my S80. I bought this as a certified pre-owned that came with an extended Volvo warranty. I've had the car for 15 months and am very pleased with the vehicle overall. Feel extremely safe driving in it. Highly recommend to those seeking a European performance/luxury vehicle but don't want the price tag of an MB, BMW or Audi.

A good luxury sedan for the price by Avid Golf Hacker on 06/17/2010. Trim: 2008 Volvo S80 T6, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Seats are orthopediaclly designed for support and comfort. Good handling and acceleration. Nice styling. Quiet ride.
Cons: Wish trunk space was wider. Hard to fit a set of golf clubs in trunk without removing driver and 3 wood. GPS system is very poor. I use my portable Garmin over the system in place.
Overall review: Overall fine quality car for the price .
