Very GOOD Truck.

Pros:
Good styling. Descent V6 Power. Very well built. Quality plastics (unlike any Ford, GM or Dodge).. You don’t feel like driving a truck. Feels like an SUV. Rides very smooth. I have TRD package. Was an expensive upgrade, but very well worth it. I enjoy every moment of driving My Tacoma. I'm sure You will too...
Cons:
No locking tailgate, No locking Fuel door, No sunroof option. No leather seats, No power seats, No Aux input or MP3 Jack on Stereo.
Overall review:
Owned for allmost 3 months. I don’t know how some people could rate this truck so low. Very good Quality. MPG is not so great, but comparing to 2003 Nissan Frontier 4cyl (my last truck) is fair. Frontier had no power and was doing 20-22 MPG. You have to drive like Grandma to get 18-20 MPG on V6 Tacoma. If you drive hard you will be 15-17 MPG range. Also did not see any difference on 87 octane or 91. Same MPG. But consider that this is a large and heavy truck even do drive like an SUV.
Also 1 thing to mention.I bought Toyota factory alarm…it was waist of money. $600 Toyota factory alarm and don't have any of the simple features of any $300 “aftermarket” alarm. Like shock sensors or auto door looking when you start the engine or shift to drive mode. And when you turn on/off the alarm does not make any sound…only Trucks lights blink. I don’t know how this alarm will protect the truck if they open the tailgate that doesn’t have any lock. Complained directly to Toyota… They don’t care.

Pros:
good power to weight ratio quick v6 and confortable ride with out the trd paccage allmost like driving a car
Cons:
many option only available in some states no back up camera or special colors in 2008 it should have more eletronics options available like the suv since they are on the same base

A great performing pickup truck

Pros:
Toyota makes an outstanding product. I'm impressed with just about everything. Comfort, handling and appearance are outstanding. Having been a Ford driver and never having one of their vehicles even come close to the posted MPG, the Toyota is a refreshing change. I consistently get 2-4 MPG over the factory figures.
Cons:
The tires from the factory are not the best and the stereo is just "ok". I've noticed many sites rip the dealers for poor service, I've yet to find out because I've not had the occasion to bring it in for anything.
Overall review:
Great truck, great price...an excellent value. The price of fuel isn't coming down anytime soon and I feel this is the future of pickup trucks.

Pros:
Looks great, fit all around is perfect sizee
Cons:
Gas mileage could be better, but I have get aggressive tires. On the low side of city
So far.
Got it at a great price though
Overall review:
Feels really nice. Odd things like switches not being lit, but just am all around great truck. Why they put drums on the rear brakes though I have no idea. Disc's all around are easier and better brakes.
