Pros:
The car is good, with a good built , It has a very good accelleration wih good ans strong spring board,it was actually reccomended to me by my very good friend and I have no regret whatsoever,
Cons:
The fuel guage meter is nothing to write home about, it starmated failing after about 2years of usage,The rheostart attached was found to be constantly making patial contact thereby given a lot of error in fuel to remaining milage readings.
Overall review:
Well, the car was enjoyable in speed as well as compactibility

Highway mpg is 18.5 not 23 as the EPA estimate indicates
by Test_Driver on 01/21/2008.
Trim: 2008 Hyundai Tucson SE 2.7 4WD, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros:
Simple dash structure
Compact size
It tops out at 101 mph on flat ground with a slight head wind
Cons:
18.5 mpg highwat not 23 as advertised. Road and wind noise, too much to easily talk. Can't comfortably put arm on center arm rest. Have to tilt the seat way back or reach behind you. The 2.7 seems under powered on some hills. Uncomfortable seats bad leg cramps after riding 3 hours. No rear seat belt height adjustment. It digs into the shoulder of a taller person. Tilt wheel is poorly designed and could cause loss of control if adjusted while driving. Doesn't hold the road very well under windy conditions. Body roll and instability can cause tense moments during emergency steer. Felt like it was going to roll over. Sun visors doesn't block the sun on the edge by side post.
Overall review:
I test drove this vehicle from Wichita, KS to Kansas City, KS and back. Total of 6 hours and close to 475 miles. The mpg on the highway is close to that of a GMC Yukon which gets 16.5 on the highway. I wouldn't recommend buying this "SUV" unless you are looking for a cheap 4WD.

Pros:
Easy-to-clean plastic in rear cargo area, Back seats fold completely flat, Roof racks, Leather seating, Sound system, Heated seats, Power Moonroof
Cons:
Lack of power seats, Slow accelleration
Overall review:
I've had my Tucson for 3 months and I love it! The accelleration is a little sluggish, but I can deal with that. It is very comfortable for long distance travel. I like that it is professional looking for business trips, but is also great for ski and camping trips. I highly recommend the ski racks and cargo tray to protect the back. Overall this is a great vehicle.

Great vehicle for the money.
by C.J. on 08/04/2009.
Trim: 2008 Hyundai Tucson SE 2.7 2WD, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
Lots of room. That's a good thing, especially for taller drivers like me. Nice fit and finish. Good accelleration, braking, handling, and rides quiet. All SUV's are a little top heavy, so you just have to slow down a bit in sharp curves, this vehicle is no exception. Controls are easily reached and there is lots of storage in this vehicle. Very comfortable for long trips.
Cons:
Mpg's advertised as 32mpg highway. The best I ever got was 26 mpg. It would be nice if they moved the trip meter to where you could see it. The steering wheel blocks it. If you didn't intentionally look for it, you'd never know it was there.
Overall review:
Hyundai makes good stuff. Period. Smooth running motors. Smooth transmissions. I own two Hyundai vehicles, and I don't regret the purchases one bit. They're not as good as some other vehicles on gas mileage, but you do get a great vehicle for what you pay for it. They're finished well, and have one of the best warranties in the automobile business. If you're a working person, and can't afford those big dollar vehicles, but want a nice looking, and well performing vehicle..... Hyundai delivers.
