A Fair Review
by gletrina on 03/09/2010.
Trim: 2008 Volkswagen Eos Komfort, Owned 2 years.
1
Pros:
Acceleration, nice finish interior, good basic sound system, affordable convertible.
Cons:
A little uncomfortable driver's seat (lumbar support), poor visibility when you need to go in reverse, a rear camera would be a very good option. Few and small places where to keep things in the main cabin.
Overall review:
I am happy with my Eos although I am concern with its readability since I had an issue with a warning light that was cause by a fuel valve. Driver's side door trim had to be fixed once. I am not sure if I will keep it after the warranty expires.

Love the car
by Canadian driver on 05/22/2009.
Trim: 2008 Volkswagen Eos Lux, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Fast, nice craftsmanship from VW (interior and exterior). Excellent stereo. Car is very nimble and fun to drive
Cons:
Not sure about reliability. JD Power and Associates give very poor reliability rankings to all VW and Audi cars (maybe they are jelous?)
Overall review:
Great on hwy, stable and quick. Good in winter. FWD has the dissadvantage that steering and traction use same forward wheels, so keep your hands on the wheels when briskly accelerating. Drove a BMW 128 i, and it handles better in the summer, but RWD will be an issue in the winter.
EOS looks, feels and drives great.

EOS in Wisconsin
by cprqueen1 on 07/11/2008.
Trim: 2008 Volkswagen Eos Turbo, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
I love my new EOS - no one around here has one and I like it because people are amazed at how the top goes down. It is pretty zippy and I like the acceleration and the special features that are easy to use. With all the storms we are getting this summer in Wisconsin, the car is tight - no leaks and it sure has been tested!!!! The car has a multi-generational appeal - from my parents and friends and all 4 kids. Great traction and virtually no wind noise - very quiet inside the vehicle. I had a VW Cabrio 10 years ago and this is soooooo much more comfortable, quiet, and elegant! Love the heated seats and the glove compartment/cooler! My mph also exceeds my expectations.
Cons:
The back seat could use more leg room....my husband and ttwo of my kids are over 6 feel and it is a bit tight for them in the back seat.
Overall review:
This is my third convertible and my favorite. Unique, stylish and such a great value for the dollar. Have always been a VW fan - this can confirms I made the right choice over other models - including the more expensive ones. I could not be happier!
