The perfect blend of beauty, power and style...
by rdog28 from Cedar Rapids on 09/24/2009.
Trim: 2008 Audi A6 3.2 with Tiptronic, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
The aggressive front grill is the first thing you'll notice about your Audi. I almost hated putting the first license place needed for our state on the front of my car. The push button start is a terrific touch as well as the easy and intuitive MMI system. One of the best features you'll love is when it gets dark and you enter your car at night. There are all sorts of subtle lighting that you'll appreciate, and when you turn on your favorite tunes and open the sun roof, you'll be so pleased that you bought the car.
There aren't too many days you'll be disappointed with the car. The handful of concerns are such a short list, you'll forget them after a while. This car rocks!
Cons:
The low-end torque is a problem. There will be times you're at a light and you'll give your car some gas, and there's a slight delay. Once it gets going, the car flies like a jet, but getting off the line isn't a strength.
If your car doesn't come equipped with the iPod interface, make sure you work this into your "deal" as this is a very expensive addition (over $1000 after the fact). The original cost was only $300, but once the car is assembled, this cost jumps up dramatically. There isn't an aux input, so if you're in an area without a strong AM/FM selection you're stuck with Sirius radio (I prefer XM), your CD's (which rock) and if you're lucky your iPod interface.
Overall review:
I would do it again, in a heartbeat. I haven't had too many days, I've regret buying this car, except when I'm cleaning the constant brake dust from the rims of the car.
You'll love the look, the quietness of the engine, and the amount of pedal you'll have, when needed on the open road. I recently had a 6 hour drive in the A6 and was pleasantly surprised to get 31+ MPG on my trip (this out paced my previous Camry by 5-6 MPG on long trips). It's a beautiful car, you'll be getting compliments about for the next 5 years of your life. Enjoy!!
