Great Choice by PickyGuy on 07/29/2013. Trim: 2008 Toyota Avalon Limited, Owned 4 years.

Pros: Interior roominess in front and back; Excellent hghwy mileage ; Plenty of power; Looks great (IMHO); Reliability; regular grade gasoline; huge trunk
Cons: Torque steer on hard acceleration
Overall review: This car is a great sedan choice. It is NOT for Andretti wannabe's but has everything (and more) that a lot of people think are important.

Is This Really Top of The Line by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/23/2011. Trim: 2008 Toyota Avalon Limited, Owned 2 years.

Pros: This is an incredibly reliable vehicle. My last car was a Cadillac and I sunk thousands of dollars into it for repairs. I bought this car because of its reliability and repair record.
Cons: For a top of the line vehicle I'm a bit disappointed. It has ordinary looks, ordinary handling and, other than air-conditioned seats, ordinary appointments. This is not a head turning car. Save the back of the car and an additional crease in the side it looks like a Camry.
Overall review: I might still have bought this vehicle but I would have explored the Nissan Maxima and possibly the lower end Lexus a bit more.

Poor man's Lexus by John on 05/14/2013. Trim: 2008 Toyota Avalon XL, Owned 5 years.
1
Pros: The ride and gas economy. Could easily get 30mpg on interstates with air on in 60 degree weather.
Cons: The vehicle itself was close to perfect except for the poor tire life. First set of tires needed to be replaced with only 37000. miles. Put new yokohama tires on for second set, much better
Overall review: Great Car, virtually no expenses except normal maintenance and tires.
