The 2008 Chrysler T&C by An MSN Autos Consumer on 08/07/2009. Trim: 2008 Chrysler Town & Country LX, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Stow and go seating which allows for a lot of internal space for acrrying and moving stuff. This is the only reason why I bought this vehicle.
Cons: Poor quality inside the vehicle. Too much cheap plastic. Poor driving conveniences, things like a compass should be standard - it isn't. Unlighted vanity mirrors. Extremely uncomfortable rear seating. I would not like to ride too far in the rear seats. Ridiculous and almost inaccessible location of spare wheel. Cruise control location moves with the steering wheel and has to located visually most of the time this is a bad location. It should be back in fixed positon on left side, with the windshield wipers, etc. Automatic gear selector does not allow you to manually select low gears very easily.
Overall review: Previously, the best vehicle I ever owned was a Chrysler but this T&C has convinced me NEVER TO BUY ANOTHER CHRYSLER VEHICLE AGAIN.

Pros: starts up all the time. dvd for the kids
Cons: quality control at chrysler on this vehicle. worst life on brake system ever. already had front and rear brakes completly replaced at 25000 miles and due for more work at 37000.a/c hose burst. new battery.has been burning oil since first oil change and chrysler says its normal. That lie made my mind up that i will never buy another chrysler again. Yokahama tires were awful and couldnt wait to change them at around 30000 milesThey lie about the gas mileage.I get around 12city/17 highway at best. several recalls which i didnt have a problem with.To make matters worse their dealership personel were arrogant in response to issues with car. Will never by a chrysler.
Overall review: Shame on Chrysler for putting out such are poor quality car and not owning up to engine problem with oil consumption.

i guess its ok by steveo on 07/19/2011. Trim: 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Touring, Owned 4 years.

Pros: comfort, the entertainment system, i know its a mini van but it don't look to bad, the room for four younger children, and its cheaper than a Tahoe
Cons: brakes,AC system,Radio. All of these items have been replaced a few times with only 30k on it and they dont have revised items they just put on the same style ac hose that keeps blowing out and send me on my way and then they wont fix it correctly as far as putting a new accumulator dryer after the system has been open for who knows how long. i noticed that the hose is to short and it keeps tearing it.
Overall review: pretty good vehicle. I wouldn't say i would never buy another one but just say i will do a little more looking next time before i jump into signing the papers

Great Van! by Happy in Fargo on 02/04/2011. Trim: 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Touring, Owned 3 years.

Pros: We have about 20k on the van so far. This van was bought for several reasons; grand kids, sits higher then a car and the swivel seats for trips. We looked at the Stow-n-go but felt the 2nd row seat look a little uncomfortable and we liked the captains chairs better. We like the creature festures, styling and the flexibility. Overall the van has been pretty choice and like it if you need to haul people in comfort. Dealer in Ada, MN has made a difference with service. That helps when you have issues or service requirements. Chrysler has the upper hand on mini-vans.
Cons: So far we have had to have the radio replaced and disc brake pads. Service bulletin came out on the brake pads due pre-mature wear so had them replaced. On a trip we could not figure out why the power supply for a game console plug-in did not work. The switch is located in an odd place; way at the bottom of center console below the pull out cup holders. I do not like the Yokohama tires at ALL!!. I bought winter tires for our winters here in Fargo, ND. I will look at replacing them next summer I think.
Overall review: Overall, we like the van but I do wish it had an all-wheel drive option. I think that would end my desire to still buy a SUV because of winter driving.
