Pros:
I purchased the GMC Diesel 2500 EXT cab 4 wheel drive. I love this truck. I tow a 36 ft 5th wheel.
I get 12 miles per gallon going down the freeway. When I go up hills I get approx 9 miles a gallon. No other truck can stay with me going up hills. I have freinds that have Dodge Diesel and they have nothing but transmission problems, which cost the approx $4000.00. My Allison tran has nver cased me problems, in fact it has helped me going down steep grades.
I am a very proud owner of GMC.

Pros:
incredible towing abilities lots of room inside smooth as can be ride quiet as can be took family on a 3600 mile road trip towing a 36 ft camper. plenty of power and room for everyone and everything
Cons:
tire pressure sensors keep failing have been since day one now the dealer is trying to say that it is the aftermarket stereo that was put in months after problems started sounds like lazy dealer techs to me

anyone would luv this truck//anyone that is unbiased that is except for tire sensor problems it has been a great ruck

Cons:
Ride is very, very stiff!! If you have back problems or enjoy a smooth ride this truck is not for you!!!!
Overall review:
I would not buy this vehicle or recommend it to anyone. I wish over and over I would have kept my '98 Chevy Z-71. Ride was great and almost had as much power.

Pros:
I tow a 24" boat through the mountains in Alaska. I wouldn't consider another truck. I have a gas engine and love it. Good power. Brake system is wonderful. The tow/haul system is just like having a "jake" brake on a big truck. It starts in the winter without fail even at -30.
Cons:
Where I live there is a long distance between gas stations. I wish the fuel tank was larger. Also when using the auto start the truck only runs for 10 minutes and you can only cycle it twice. AT -25 running the truck for 10 minutes doesn't do much for ya.
Overall review:
I wouldn't consider buying a different brand or model. I love my GMC 2500HD Crew Cab.
