Mercedes SUV shines. by Vin Tanner in Tuscaloosa on 05/16/2011. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML320 CDI, Owned 2 years.

Pros: Overall, the best vehicle I have ever owned. Period. Great build quality, very comfortable, 30 MPG Highway and 20 in town. excellent radio, rear view camera, cruise, etc. Braking and acceleration wonderful. bought it certified, so have a 100,000 mile no-deductible warranty with no-deductible roadside warranty and saved 1/3 of the list price at only 9 months old. The 400 ft lbs of torque reminds one of the V-8 engine. Diesel fuel in my area same as regular so, one gets 50% better mileage than V-6 which uses premium fuel.
Cons: As has been discussed on the 2008 back, the NAV system is generally antiquated, but, with the newest road DVD it has improved greatly. Most installed NAV systems show their age quickly. The maps are accurate and helpful. I would make no other change.
Overall review: If one likes comfort, security, high MPG in a nice vehicle, this is it. Buy certified and come out ahead. The folks at Park Place Mercedes/Grapevine are good.

No Comparison by Lifes Short USEITUP! on 02/01/2011. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML350, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Style Finish Plenty of power F1 traction control Stereo All of the amenities Quiet on the road
Cons: People park to close to it. P.S. use the cruise control, this thing is so quiet and smooth riding you can get tickets when not in a hurry.
Overall review: Driving our 2001 ML320 with 196k miles to different dealerships, test driving the newest midsize suv's - vw, bmw, nissan, lexus, 10 all told. Listening to the sales hype, we would get back into old reliable and realize what we had driven was not a Mercedes. We made the 5hr trip to Chicago and left with the 08 ML350. Quiet, powerfull, amazing sound system, and part snowmobile. Yes the wife loves her Christmas Present. Go anywhere anytime looking good feeling good

Pros: Everything is great about this truck.
Cons: Nothing worth whinning about.
Overall review: Ive owned and test driven every major upscale and middle of the pack suv on the market(foriegn and domestic). Nothing compares to the ml-320cdi (NOTHING!!!!). Im 6'5" and have too much room. I get 29 mpg hwy and 23 mpg city. Finally, im a happy camper.

You have to experience it to believe it! by The Spiderman on 11/07/2008. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML550, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: Sports car feel in an SUV. The 550 has incredible torque and power. Top of it's class! Unlike any other SUV I've driven. Definitely for the the very descriminating. Don't take my word for it. You have to experience it to believe it! You'll never drive another sport vehicle.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Overall review: You have to experience it to believe it! German engineering at it's best!

a lot of truck with good looks. by An MSN Autos Consumer on 03/23/2008. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML320 CDI, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: has a lot of torque and very quick off the line. great mileage and can drive 700 miles on a tank of fuel.
Cons: the price of diesel is going through the roof.
Overall review: if diesel would come back to earth it's a great vehicle. i love this truck but you are probably better off with the gasoline version right now.
