A pleasant surprise by An MSN Autos Consumer on 03/02/2008. Trim: 2008 Hummer H2 SUT Adventure, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Most of the reviews regarding Hummers are biased and not fair. For exempla the new 2008 H2, no vehicle on the market today will drive you in comfort, style and luxury on freeways, cities and is capable to tackle most trails in a stock configuration.
Cons: Hmm, The vehicle rattles inside when the road gets bumpy – The vehicle is not insulated adequately – To much plastic for a vehicle in this price range. GM can easily resolve those small problems – GM listen to your customers!!! A H2 SUT 2008 Owner
Overall review: Overall a great vehicle to drive, as a daily driver, traveler or for recreational purposes, the 2008 H2 SUT will fill the bill. I like the vehicle a lot and will buy again.

Much Improved 2008 Hummer H2 by Mike from Hayden on 10/21/2007. Trim: 2008 Hummer H2 SUT Adventure, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The new interior is much improved - not only for comfort, but for newly created controls for every system onboard. The back up camera is an excellent improvement. A more powerful engine and six speed transmission have me at a current MPG of 15.5 combined city/highway. Since I live in North Idaho and need a vehicle capable of going to places (for business) not reachable by a four wheel drve SUV or pickup, this is a perfect vehicle. Side curtain airbags are a great safety addition.
Cons: Nothing as yet.
Overall review: The Hummer has been much aligned for its' bad fuel economy and as being a dinosaur. The new mileage ratings should make some of that argument go away. The world is going "green" and turning to hybrid cars. Battery life on the hybrids are estimated at about 50,000 miles and then have to be replaced, the old batteries disposed of. The effect on these disposed batteries could have a very negative impact on the environment, just as the manufacturing plants for these batteries have. Since the Hummer now has such high quality and dependability, the life cycle is sure to be lengthened possibly making the Humer much less of a threat to the environment. If you need the type of comfort and severe road capabilities that the Hummer offers, plus the protection of a large vehicle, the Hummer is the one....
