Class and Sporty Design by KicH from Texas on 08/19/2008. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK350 Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Rare ride in my area. Very comfortable ride for long trips (expected). Some E-Class trickle-down effect. Pillarless design gets constant stares!
Cons: There's not much to dislike. You can get just about everything with the available options, but they drive the price toward $60K, which is too much for a 6 cylinder automobile. The optional iPod integration kit is nice, but where it the 3.5mm jack?
Overall review: Design is starting to show its age, which should be addressed with the 2010 model. No Bluetooth integration, yet C-Class has it. Is Mercedes not making anymore manual transmissions? Heated / Vented seats should not be an option on a car over $50K. Overall a great ride; I'll probably replace my current '08 CLK 350 with the next model. For what I want, there's not much better in the market.

Mercedes lacks quality that Lexus provides by CC, San Diego, CA on 04/13/2008. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Cabriolet, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The look is sleek, it handles very well.
Cons: The quality of this car is less than I expected, too much plastic and other cheap material, and does not feel solid and quiet.
Overall review: I will not purchase a Mercedes again, I will go back to Lexus next time.

Drives Like a Dream by An MSN Autos Consumer on 06/11/2013. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK550 Cabriolet, Owned 5 years.
Pros: Acceleration Handling Better than advertised gas mileage Heated seats MP3/aux
Cons: The AMG rims are begining to lose some of the chrome.
Overall review: I love my CLK 550 cabriolet and, every time I get the itch to buy a new car (even went so far as test driving a new Tesla Model S), something as insignificant as driving my CLK to the grocery store has me reminded of why I bought this car in the first place. I absolutely love it. It is a timeless classic. It drives like a dream. It never breaks down. And, even if you live in Seattle, you absolutely must get the cabriolet model. This is my favorite car ever. Five years. No regrets whatsoever.

This car was born to be a cabriolet... Perfect lux/perf ratio by Brian on 04/05/2013. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK350 Cabriolet, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: This car was born to have the top down! First convertible I have owned, and the first mercedes. Prior cars were 2 Lexus, 4 Cadillacs and a Lincoln. Not even the Lexus can compare in terms of craftsmanship. I am amazed by how solidly each and ever part is built down to the gas cap and the entrance to the fuel line. It may seem odd to notice those things, but my overall impression is that every aspect of the car is built with quality and for the part to actually operate as it is intended, rather than just "make it through" until it needs replaced. My wife wanted a BMW 3 series, but I am so glad we bought this instead. It handles just as well but the luxury/comfort/handling ratio is much better
Cons: The back seat is very tight if the driver/frt pass are of average height. Works fine for my 9 year old, but forget putting an adult back there for any length of time. Trunk space limited. Car is better suited for cruising, short trips, and for only one passenger and the driver. There are a few things missing and even unavailable... at this price they should at least be options: passenger side tilt down mirrors for ease of parallel parking, front/rear obstacle detection, ventilated seats, airscarf like in the SL and even cheaper SLK. Bluetooth absence is a debacle at this price... And getting to the prewiring to work a mobile phone into the system as designed is daunting endeavor
Overall review: Buy this car as a cabriolet and not a coupe. it is a definite head turner with the top down and is beautiful inside as well. If you haven't owned a German car before, some of the controls take some getting used to. The nav sys could be better... touch screen instead of keypad, the joystick is annoying and time consuming Based on my experience with this car, I would buy mercedes again. I'm on my 4th Cadillac and thought I Would be with them for life. This mercedes is making me change my thinking. This car is a perfect second car, unless you are a single person. It is difficult to transport many passengers, and the cargo space for things like even grocery shopping is very tight. As a regular luxury buyer, some of the toys are missing from a $70,000 car but if you can give them up the cars other benefits compensate. While my two Lexus cars and SUV were always very reliable, I never felt connected to the car or had a smile on my face driving it. With this car, I enjoy every mile.

Super car from Mercedes!! by Dallas, tx on 09/01/2012. Trim: 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Cabriolet, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I own a 2008 CLK63 AMG convertible. It's an unbeliveable car, scary fast, smooth, rides well and turns heads. The sound of the 6.2 liter V8 under full acceleration will make you smile for a week and it's supercar fast but classy. In sum, you need to drive this car, it will be a wonderful experience!
Overall review: 10, awesome car!!!!!
