glad we bought it by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/13/2010. Trim: 2008 Ford Ranger XL 2WD, Owned 3 years.

Pros: excellent fuel mileage, reasonable price, reasonable performance (2.3 with stick shift), safety.

Cons: I am tall, and top of windshield is in my line of sight.

Overall review: EXCELLENT SMALL TRUCK, PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS. This is our third Ranger since 1987

the best "little truck" around. by sterling from salem mo. on 09/22/2009. Trim: 2008 Ford Ranger Sport SuperCab 2WD, Owned 1 year.

Pros: excellant braking in all weather conditions. easy handling in city driving. better than average gas milage. everything i expected and then some.

Cons: i only had one problem with this truck and it was taken care of immediately...

Overall review: overall ...it beats the competition (chevy) cold... no contest!

Made in the Twin Cities with pride by Dave from Toronto, Canada on 06/04/2009. Trim: 2008 Ford Ranger FX4 Off-Road SuperCab 4 Door, Owned 1 year.

Pros: I got every available option on my truck and I'm glad I did. The leather seats are quite comfortable, the Pioneer sound system sounds great and the 4.10 rear end with posi-trac, Rancho shocks, etc make for a great little out of the box off-roader. The 4.0L with the 5-speed manual is the only way to go as you can take advantage of all of the torque available.

Cons: Fuel economy isn't anything to write home about in the city, highway mileage is much better. Mileage is actually quite similar to a 4.6L equipped F-150 from my experience (father has said truck).

Overall review: Best bang for the buck in the compact truck segment.

Pros: have three this makes four. Use everyday in work. no problems. 150,175,185k on three. New one 8k.

A fine truck by An MSN Autos Consumer on 01/31/2008. Trim: 2008 Ford Ranger XLT 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: The fit and finish is excellent. The acceleration is good for a 4 cyl. It is a taller vehicle. The handling is good.

Cons: None.

Overall review: This is an excellent vehicle and the current price is fantastic. If you need a small pickup this is probably the one for you.
