Pros:
The New 2008 refinements are spectacular and they finally put soft close doors on the car. The shifting is better than previous years and you can get smooth shifts if you program it for your driving style. The stereo is very good as well and is more than enough power for me. Make sure you get High Definition Radio as it is awesome; the IPOD hook up is via USB cable so you have real control of your IPOD through the car. The HUD features NAV,RPM and Speed displayed on the front windshield only visible to you the driver. The car is very dynamic, this is a driver’s car and they are living up to their name when they say "The Ultimate Driving Machine" I love it and I am sure you will to.
Cons:
Only one Con and that goes for every amazingly fast car, it eats to much gas. But then again I don't always have to be in the 500HP mode I can choose 400HP and save gas when drving around town. Not many cars have that feature if any.
Overall review:
2008 - BMW M5 Silverstone/Full Blk perforated LHTR / just the most amazing Vehicle, this car is best suited for performance enthusiasts. I have only 1000 miles on it and I can’t wait to get through the break-in period.... for the money there is no car on the market like this, with so much power and so much luxury at the click of a button. This sophisticated yet simple racecar is what they call a sleeper. The average person does not recognize the M model of BMW, so it’s easy to get in and out of places without causing too much attention. But then again once they hear the roaring exhaust they realize it’s not your average BMW, Mpower is real believe it. I will have almost no maintenance costs for 4 years /50,000. Just in the oil changes and brake maintenance I will save a bundle of money. I haven't felt the full power of the car but I can tell already that other supercars that have more horsepower doesn’t mean they will go faster. The M5 puts the power to the ground, where it belongs.
