Wonderful litte car i use as a truck! by shelly from indiana on 08/24/2012. Trim: 2008 Pontiac Vibe Base, Owned 4 years.
Pros: i have had this car since 2009 bought it used it now has over 50,000 and wouldnt trade it for the world. with the flip up window in the back i have hauled things meant for a small truck and always surprise the guys at menards with what i can fit in this little car. Always makes my day! Wonderfully delightful car! I have missed several deer due to the steering responsiveness and braking system in this car love it!
Cons: finish on the bumper doesnt clean well would have preferred chrome or painted.
Overall review: overall i give it 2 thumbs up

The Ultimate 4- Door by Loryn from Wisconsin on 04/02/2012. Trim: 2008 Pontiac Vibe Base, Owned 4 years.
Pros: My 2008 Pontiac Vibe is the perfect car! As a college student, I have a lot of luggage to bring between my hour drive from school and home as well as the friends I bring along with me. It has more than enough room for all of us to fit comfortably and all of our luggage to fit! This car handles great, quick acceleration & fast break response is great for driving in town as well as on the highway. It gets great gas mileage, I've been able to get 40MPG on the highway when going home.
Cons: I dislike the fact that radio system in the car has nowhere for an audio input to connect an ipod or phone to listen to music or talk wirelessly. However, this can be fixed easily because of its power options and the ability to buy an iTrip that works just as good as an AV cable.
Overall review: Overall, I give this car a 10 out of 10. It's great for families as well as college students. I have a feeling letting this car go one day will be very hard to do!

Great runabout car. by Largesarge from Western NY on 02/20/2011. Trim: 2008 Pontiac Vibe Base, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Lots of usable space inside for it's size. 30 mpg overall. Easy entry and exit. Comfortable, upright driving position. Made in USA. Zero problems or issues in 3 years of everyday driving. Fun to drive. Good driver visibliity due to high driving position. Lots of room for large (6"4, 300 # ) driver. Fold down front passenger seat allows long items to be carried inside. Terrific runabout for suburban or city driving. Nimble handling. Good resale value. Easy to get parts since many are Toyota parts..
Cons: A bit of engine noise on long trips at 70 mph, but great gas mileage compensates. Not great in snow due to the wide tires. Styling is quirky; you either love it or hate it. Adequate power, but great gas mileage. Could use a bigger gas tank (only 13 gallons). Orphaned by Toyota and GM, but a great used car. .
Overall review: Zippy, handy, fun to drive car. Wish GM and Toyota hadn't discontinued it, I'd have bought another. Now must buy Matrix, which is not made in USA. One of the best cars I've ever had, and I hate small cars.
